Patent number: 9005711Abstract: A method of forming a lubricating film on a surface, comprising applying to a surface a multiphasic composition comprising at least one (per)fluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricant, water and from 0.1 to 3% by weight of water of at least one thickening agent, said multiphasic composition having a viscosity, when measured at 21° C. at a shear rate of 1 sec?1 of at least 10 Pa×sec so as to form a layer, and drying said layer to form a lubricating film.
