  • Patent number: 9650184
Abstract: A package containing tamper evident features includes a closure for closing the package and an access point that provides access to contents of the package. The closure includes a ring surrounding the closure which is connected to the package, a lid, substantially covering the access point when the lid is closed on the package, a removable tab secured between a portion of the lid and the ring and a plurality of tear off webs between the ring and the lid. The tear off webs are releasably connected between the ring and the lid. Opening of the package by opening the lid requires both removal of the tab from the tube and breaking of the first tear off webs.
