Abstract: A description follows of oxa(thia)diazol- and triazol-ones(thiones), with a iticide and insecticide activity, having the general formula ##STR1## wherein: Y=0, S; Z=0, S, NCH.sub.3, one of the two substituents P and Q is an ortho-substituted phenyl and the other a substituted benzyl.

Abstract: New esters of 2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropane-carboxylic acid, which are endowed ith insecticidal and acaricidal activity, have the general formula: ##STR1## wherein: represents ##STR2## or aR.sub.1 --Y--CF.sub.2 --C.tbd.C--group;Y represents either O or S;X represents H, F, Cl, Br, or --CF.sub.3 ;R.sub.1 represents either a linear or a branched (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)-aklyl group, or a (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6)-cycloalkyl group, optionally substituted with halogen atoms;R.sub.2 represents one from the following groups: ##STR3## wherein: R.sub.3 represents an F atom, a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5)-aklyl, an alkyloxy, an alkylthio, an alkylsulfinyl, or an alkylsulfonyl group; andY.sub.1 is either O or CH.sub.2.

Abstract: Derivatives of 2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylic acid endowed with insecticidal and acaricidal activity, and having the formula ##STR1## wherein: R is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl radical having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, optionally substituted with halogen atoms, or R is an aryl radical optionally substituted with halogen atoms, alkyl or alkoxyl radicals;Y is O or S;X is H, F, Cl, Br, --CH.sub.3, or --CF.sub.3 ;R.sub.1 represents a group having the formula: ##STR2## wherein: X.sub.1 =H or F; X.sub.2 =H, --CN, or --C.tbd.CH; Q=O or CH.sub.2 ; A=CH or N when X1=H, X2=CN and Q=O.

Abstract: There are described 3-phenoxy-benzyl or .alpha.-cyano-3-phenoxy-benzyl esters of 2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropanecarboxylic acids substituted in position 3 by a dienic polyhalogenated chain, as well as their use as insecticides and acaricides. Moreover, there are also described the intermediates for their preparation and processes for their preparation.

Abstract: There are described compounds of formula: ##STR1## in which one of R and R.sup.1 is F or Cl and the other is H, F or Cl;X is a 1,4-phenylene or pyridyl bound in positions 2 and 5, optionally substituted;Y is a phenyl, 2- or 3-pyridyl, optionally substituted.The compounds of formula I are endowed with a high insecticide activity which is mainly directed against insect larvae and eggs.

Abstract: There are described compounds of formula: ##STR1## in which X (or X')=H, F, Cl and X' (or X)=F, Cl; ##STR2## with R.sup.2 =H, Cl, Br, F an optionally halogen-substituted alkyl C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 ;R.sup.3 =halogen, an optionally halogen-substituted alkyl C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 ;R.sup.4 =H or R.sup.3 ;R.sup.1 =H, halogen, an optionally halogen-substituted alkyl C.sub.1 -C.sub.3, OCH.sub.3, SCH.sub.3, OCF.sub.3 ;n=an integer from 1 to 4.The compounds of formula I are endowed with a high insecticide activity which is mainly exerted against insects' larvae and eggs.

Abstract: There are described mixtures with a synergistic action of two acaricide compounds as well as their use in suitable compositions in the fight against mite infestations on useful plants.

Abstract: Acaricide mixtures obtained from the synergistic coupling of an acaricide belonging to the class of the hydroquinone diethers with metallic copper or copper compounds and the use of said mixtures in suitable compositions in the treatment of mite infestations on useful plants are disclosed.

Abstract: There are described 2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropanecarboxylates having in position 3 of the cyclopropane ring, a polyhalogenated chain having from 3 to 6 carbon atoms.Said compounds are insecticide and acaricide compounds with a high activity and long persistence.There is also described the use of the above mentioned compounds, as well as the synthesys processes and the corresponding intermediates.
