The system may include an authentication code generation module coupled to a processor to receive a document to be printed from a user. Further, the authentication code generation module ascertains whether the document is confidential, based on a confidentiality determination criterion. On ascertaining that the document is confidential, an authentication code corresponding to the document is generated to provide print control to a predefined set of authorized users. The authentication code is provided to the predefined set of authorized users including the user.
