  • Patent number: 11162009
Abstract: The invention relates to powdered lubricants for water based drilling fluids. Conventional liquid lubricants containing particularly divalent ions have the tendency to grease out. The powdered lubricants have excellent dispersion properties and hence do not grease out, when added to the drilling mud in the concentrations, preferably of the order of about 3% or less. The powdered lubricant is a combination of inert fillers with fatty acids that are essentially free from fatty acid esters and metal soaps and have organic acids containing C10-C24 alkyl groups fatty acids. The improved lubricating properties of the drilling muds result in greatly increased life of the rotary drilling bits and marked reduction in torque required to rotate the bit. Solid powdered additives compositions greatly reduce transportation costs and simplify the logistics and environmental concerns associated with shipping large volumes of liquids and overcome the pour point issues associated with liquid additives.

  • Patent number: 11160137
Abstract: Systems and methods provide solutions for reliable data transfer in a mobile communication network. A user equipment (UE) may indicate to the mobile communication network a capability of the UE to support a reliable data service protocol. The UE may process non-access stratum (NAS) messages, for both mobile originated (MO) data transfer and mobile terminated (MT) data transfer, using the reliable data service protocol to determine whether protocol data units (PDUs) of the NAS messages require no acknowledgement, require acknowledgment, or include an acknowledgement, and to detect and eliminate duplicate PDUs received at the UE in the NAS messages.

  • Patent number: 11122499
Abstract: Diameter based interfaces are configured to enable restriction of a coverage enhancement feature or mode. A service capability exposure function (SCEF) communicates through a Diameter based interface (e.g., S6t interface) with an HSS to control whether a user equipment (UE) is restricted from operation in an enhanced coverage mode. The SCEF may process an enhanced coverage request. In response, the SCEF generates a configuration information request (CIR) for a home subscriber server (HSS). The CIR may include an AVP to query enhanced coverage restrictions for the UE. The SCEF may also process a configuration information answer (CIA) from the HSS. The CIA may include an enhanced-coverage-restriction-data AVP indicating current settings of the enhanced coverage restrictions for the UE.

  • Publication number: 20210280276
Abstract: A chemical product formulation system automatically generates seed formulae from historic experiments data for the synthesis of a chemical product. Independent and dependent features are identified from the historic experiments data and feature importance scores are calculated using a supervised machine learning (ML) model. The feature importance scores are used to build data structures from which analytical rules are extracted. The analytical rules are further processed to derive the seed formulae which are user-editable. The intermediate formulae generated via user edits of the seed formulae are further validated and approved in order to be used as the final formulae which are employed for the synthesis of the chemical product.

  • Patent number: 11102689
Abstract: Connection control circuitry is provided for a User Equipment (UE) configurable to offload communication of packet data from a cellular radio-access network comprising a Trusted Wireless Local Access Network (TWLAN) and a Trusted Wireless Access Gateway (TWAG) with IP Address preservation. The connection control circuitry has a connection requesting module configured to send a distinguishable-connection establishment message to the TWAG, requesting setup of a TWAG-routed data connection comprising at least one of a Packet Data Network (PDN) connection and a Non-Seamless Wireless Offload (NSWO) connection. A unique virtual gateway interface address is used to identify a point-to-point link between the UE and the TWAG. This allows the TWAG to distinguish between multiple substantially simultaneous point-to-point links which support multiple substantially simultaneous packet data connections. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 11076314
Abstract: A mobility management entity (MME) can enable overload control of data transmission via control plane in an evolved packet system (EPS), optimized for cellular internet of things (CIoT), by use of a control plane data backoff timer that suppresses the use of control plane for data transfer by a user equipment (UE) for the duration of the timer. For example, an MME sends a control plane data backoff timer to a UE that suppresses the use of control plane for data transfer for the duration of the timer. Alternatively, when an MME load reaches a threshold, an MME triggers an Overload Start message and sends it to the RAN node, so that the RAN node can restrict selecting this MME for UEs requiring data transfer using control plane CIoT optimization. The RAN node can reject these UEs and return a wait timer in an RRC Connection Release message.

  • Publication number: 20210203616
Abstract: Various arrangements for increasing a transfer rate of a data transfer via satellite are presented. A satellite gateway may set an accelerated set of communication parameters that control communication between the satellite gateway and the satellite terminal via the satellite and between the satellite gateway and the content source to an accelerated transfer rate between the content source and the satellite terminal. A first set of data may be transferred from the content source to the satellite terminal using the set of communication parameters. After transferring the first set of data, the satellite gateway may adjust the initial set of communication parameters to an adjusted set of communication parameters. The adjusted transfer rate can be lower than the accelerated transfer rate.

  • Publication number: 20210153027
Abstract: An apparatus of a MulteFire (MF) user equipment (MF UE) includes processing circuitry to configure the MF UE for access class barring. The processing circuitry is to decode a subscription profile management object (MO) indicating an access class of the MF UE from a set of available access classes. A SIB received from a MF AP is decoded, the SIB including at least a first access class barring parameter indicating whether access to a cell of the MF AP is barred for a subset of the available access classes. An access barring check procedure is performed to determine whether access to the cell is barred, based on the access class and the first access class barring parameter. Upon determining that access is not barred, an Attach Request message is encoded for transmission in an unlicensed band to a NH MME in a NHN, to perform an attach procedure.

  • Publication number: 20210110456
Abstract: Browser requests are received and data included in it is added to a vector. If explicit identification information is present, the vector is associated with a pre-existing user record, which is then updated. If not, candidate user records may be identified according to correspondence with values in the vector. Candidate vectors may be eliminated by identifying inconsistency in OS, device, and browser information. Email messages may include a URL and a server may select content for the URL when it is accessed based on activity of the user after the email is sent. Triggers may be generated based on events and a user history. Access of a delivery mode for content invokes the trigger to provide content to the user. Email content may be provided by third parties based on the user history, such as contents of an abandoned electronic shopping cart.
