Publication number: 20240092578Abstract: A system and method for transferring items in a storage facility are provided. The storage facility includes a storage system that includes bins, a control server, and a sensing system. A pick-put operation on an inventory item is performed by picking the inventory item from a robotic apparatus by an operator and storing the inventory item in a corresponding bin of the storage system. The control server receives sensor signals when the sensing system automatically senses a pick-up of the inventory item from the robotic apparatus and placement of the inventory item in the corresponding bin of the storage system. The reception of the sensor signals by the control server indicates execution of the pick-put operation. Thus, a need for the operator to manually scan the inventory item during the pick-up or press any buttons on the storage system to indicate completion of the pick-put operation is eliminated.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Grey Orange Inc.Inventors: Vivek AGGARWAL, Mohit AGRAWAL, Kishore Kumar LUTHRA, Shivam NAGAR

Publication number: 20230248594Abstract: An apparatus kit and associated methods relate to a wheelchair power assist device kit configured to be installed, uninstalled and exchanged using an exchange tab welded to a wheelchair, and when installed to switch a motorized friction roller between engaged and disengaged modes with a wheelchair wheel, based on an engagement actuator configured to move the friction roller relative to the wheelchair. The friction roller may be operably coupled with an engagement member configured to move relative to the wheelchair. The engagement member may be moved by an extendable and retractable actuator shaft coupled with the wheelchair. A manual wheelchair may be converted to a powered wheelchair using the exemplary device kit comprising a motorized friction roller for each wheelchair wheel while leaving an open space behind the wheelchair seating area, advantageously permitting the power assist devices to remain attached to a foldable wheelchair in either folded or unfolded configurations.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2023Publication date: August 10, 2023Applicant: RODA FUTURA, LLCInventors: Evan Peskin, Vivek Nagar, Audrey Wilson, Jonathan Slavin, Roger Baumann

Patent number: 6668327Abstract: Methods and computer systems for providing access to a protected resource are described. In an enterprise computer system, an authentication server provides a client requesting access to the protected resource a credential. In order to access the protected resource, the requesting client presents a protected resource access request in combination with the credential to a server coupled to the protected resource. The server, in turn, requests the authentication server to validate the credential. After the authentication server has validated the credential, the server grants the requesting client access to the protected resource.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1999Date of Patent: December 23, 2003Assignee: Sun Microsystems, Inc.Inventors: Harish Prabandham, Vivek Nagar

Patent number: 6604143Abstract: A proxy server operative to accept plug-in filters to perform forward and reverse filtering between a client process and a server process. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, a method of filtering information includes the steps of receiving a request by the proxy server from a client. The proxy server identifies a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of a server process in the request and compares that URL against filter rules previously defined to the system. In the event the URL satisfies one of the filter rules, a filter servlet associated with the satisfied filter rule is used to filter the requested information. A filter servlet is a set of instructions that, when executed, filters the information. The filtered request is then used to retrieve information from a server process. Similarly, the same filtering process may be performed on a response from the server process destined for a client process.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1999Date of Patent: August 5, 2003Assignee: Sun Microsystems, Inc.Inventors: Vivek Nagar, Inderjeet Singh
