Abstract: Systems and methods for providing continuity of audio and/or video (A/V) presets across different contexts are described. In an embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS), may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: identify a first audio or video setting used by a first audio or video device in a first context; normalize the first audio or video setting into a normalized setting; in response to a determination that the IHS is in a second context, translate the normalized setting into a second audio or video setting; and apply the second audio or video setting to a second audio or video device.

Abstract: A method for allocating traffic between a wireless interface and a wired interface of an information handling system may begin with determining that the information handling system is connected to a dock via a wireless interface. A determination may also be made that the information handling system is connected to the dock via a wired interface. One or more characteristics of at least a portion of data to be transmitted between the information handling system and the dock may be determined. A first portion of the data to be transmitted may be transmitted via the wireless interface based, at least in part, on the one or more characteristics. A second portion of the data to be transmitted may be transmitted via the wired interface based, at least in part, on the one or more characteristics.

Abstract: An information handling system may include a plurality of sensors comprising a camera sensor for communicating camera data, a user presence and focus state manager configured to receive the camera data and generate an inference of user presence and focus based on the camera data, and a dynamic filtering service. The dynamic filtering service may be configured to receive the inference, determine based on the inference a filtering action, and cause the filtering action to be applied to dynamically-generated information associated with a user of the information handling system and communicated to other information handling systems communicatively coupled to the information handling system.

Abstract: A diagnostics optimization platform employs cloud-based resources, including a diagnostics repository that accumulates health data from managed endpoints, and machine learning (ML) resources that generate endpoint-specific diagnostic plans based on the accumulated health data. The ML resources may be configured to generate diagnostic plans that prioritize any appropriate diagnostic testing parameter or objective including, as a non-limiting example, a reduction in diagnostic testing execution time and/or diagnostic testing frequency. The ML resources may maintain a continually updated training database derived from the collected health data to develop endpoint-specific data collection and diagnostic testing models. The ML resources may include a diagnostics optimization module to develop diagnostic testing models and provide corresponding endpoint-specific diagnostic plans to each endpoint.

During a first pre-boot phase, the BIOS memory maps the hybrid processor to a first portion of the memory device, and stores an embedded operating system in the memory. During a second pre-boot phase, the BIOS memory maps the main processor to a second portion of the memory device, stores a host operating system in the memory, and loads the embedded operating system on the hybrid processor. Abstract: Dock-connected peripherals can be enumerated in a preferred order. When a client computing device is connected to a dock, a dock service can report peripherals connected to the dock one-by-one to ensure that each peripheral is enumerated in the preferred order. The preferred order can be defined based on a user's usage of the peripherals including an order of usage, a usage frequency, and a purpose.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for platform framework security state management are described. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) collects context information that describes logical and physical environments in which the IHS is operating. This context information is used to determine a security state for the IHS. A launch of a resource of the IHS is detected. In response, updated context information is collected that further describes the logical and physical environments. Based on the security state, the launched resource and the updated context information, an updated security state of the IHS is determined. Based on the updated security state, changes are determined to security policies that are used to operate hardware devices of the IHS. Platform framework participants are identified that are registered users of the security polices affected by the updated security state, and these participants are notified of the security policy changes.

Abstract: Peripherals can be managed in a workspace environment. Peripherals can be associated with hoteling cubes to enable the inclusion of the peripherals in workspaces at the hoteling cubes to be managed. Users can be enabled to request the inclusion of additional peripherals in workspaces at the hoteling cubes. Users can also be enabled to include their own peripherals in workspaces at the hoteling cubes.

Abstract: Best known configurations for workspaces can be managed. Device groups can be defined based on functional roles or organizational departments. Each device group can be associated with a workspace along with a best known configuration for the workspace that is based on the device group. Workspaces can then be deployed to the end-user computing devices based on the device group to which each end-user computing device belongs and in accordance with the associated best known configuration.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a first wireless data communication interface configured to establish wireless data communication links on a first frequency band, a second wireless data communication interface configured to establish wireless data communication links on a second frequency band, and a processor. Abstract: An audio processing system includes a microphone array, a speech detection system, and a neural network noise reduction module. The microphone array includes at least two microphones and provides an audio signal from an environment surrounding the microphone array. The speech detection system receives the audio signal, and processes the audio signal to a) detect that a first user is speaking, b) determine a first direction relative to the audio array when the first user is located at a first location within the environment, and c) provide beamforming processing on the audio signal in the first direction, and to provide a processed audio signal based upon the beamforming processing. The neural network noise reduction module reduces noise in the processed audio signal.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a network interface card and a processor. The network interface card includes first and second virtual network interface cards. The processor communicates with the network interface card, and connects with an infrastructure access point via the first virtual network interface card. The processor forms multiple network connections via the infrastructure access point and the first virtual network interface card. The processor detects a wireless dock is within a predetermined proximity. In response to the wireless dock being within the predetermined proximity, the processor initiates a connection with the wireless dock via the second virtual network interface card. The processor resumes one or more of the network connections through the wireless dock via the second virtual network interface card. In response to the one or more of the network connections being resumed through the wireless dock, the processor drops the connection with the infrastructure access point.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mitigating Information Handling System (IHS) startup latency in hoteling environments due to driver and firmware updates are described. In an embodiment, an IHS configured to: receive an indication of a selected one of a plurality of workspaces; in response to the indication, retrieve a list of driver or firmware updates corresponding to peripheral devices available in the selected workspace; identify a subset of driver or firmware updates among the list of driver or firmware updates based, at least in part, upon a comparison between the list of driver or firmware updates and a list of one or more drivers or firmware installed in the IHS; and initiate installation of the subset of one or more driver or firmware updates before the IHS arrives at the selected workspace.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing workspace configuration recommendations in hoteling environments are described. In an embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: receive telemetry data from a plurality of client IHSs, where the telemetry data comprises integrated device data and workspace device data. Abstract: Systems and systems for implementing network manageability techniques that enable intelligent connectivity are described. In an embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the IHS to: determine that a rule prescribed by a connectivity policy is satisfied by context information collected by the IHS, and, in response to the determination, change at least one of: a wireless communication channel, a protocol, or a network configuration used by the IHS to connect to a wireless docking station.
