  • Patent number: 9739508
Abstract: An apparatus is provided having a heat generation device such as a boiler. A hypersonic energy harvester is provided having a first input and a second input. The first input and the second input are fluidly coupled to the heat generation device. A variable speed pump is fluidly coupled to supply liquid from the heat generation device to the hypersonic energy harvester. A deaerator is fluidly coupled to receive condensate from the hypersonic energy harvester.

Date of Patent: August 22, 2017
    Assignee: HUDSON FISONIC CORPORATION
Inventors: Vladimir V. Fisenko, Robert Kremer
  • Patent number: 8936202
Abstract: A system for heating a facility is provided. The system includes a first inlet from a district heating system. A heating system is arranged having a condensate outlet. A hyper-condensate recycler is provided having a second inlet coupled to the condensate outlet and a third inlet coupled to the first inlet. The hyper-condensate recycler includes a first outlet. A separator having a fourth inlet is coupled to the first outlet, the separator further having a second outlet fluidly coupled to the first inlet.

Assignees: Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., Hudson Fisonic Corporation
Inventors: Robert Kremer, Vladimir V. Fisenko, A. Arthur Kressner, Joseph Carbonara, Edward Gerard Ecock
  • Patent number: 8550693
Abstract: A device for preparation of a water-fuel emulsion comprises a blending chamber, as well as a fuel nozzle and a water nozzle for supply of respective mediums in the chamber. A nozzle that ensures boiling of water is used as the water nozzle. The water nozzle comprises an inlet and outlet sections that are respectively convergent and divergent in the direction of medium flow, between which the minimal cross-section of the nozzle is located. The generatrix of a fore part of the divergent section of the nozzle has a concave shape in relation to the axis of the nozzle in the critical cross-section of the nozzle. The water nozzle is located on a longitudinal axis of the chamber while the fuel nozzle is located in line with the water nozzle and is shaped as a ring enveloping an end part of the water nozzle.
