The present invention also relates to a process for producing said fluorosiloxane rubbers. The process comprises polycondensation of fluorosiloxane-diols of the formula: ##STR2## wherein: R.sub.F = OCF.sub.3, OC.sub.2 F.sub.5, OC.sub.2 F.sub.4 OCF.sub.3, C.sub.2 F.sub.4 OCF.sub.3, C.sub.3 H.sub.7,R = ch.sub.3, c.sub.6 h.sub.5,x = 1.0 - 0.97,y = 0 - 0.03,p = 2.3 - 187.2,q = 0 - 3.8Having an average molecular weight within the range of from 620 to 51,200 at a temperature of from 80.degree. to 150.degree. C in the presence of a basic catalyst or a catalyst comprising a complex salt of trifluoroacetic acid and piperidine.

    Abstract: The invention relates to [perfluoroalkyl(alkoxy)phenyl]methyldichlorosilanes characterized by the general formula ##STR1## where: R.sub.F = OCF.sub.3 OC.sub.2 F.sub.5, OC.sub.2 F.sub.4 OCF.sub.3, C.sub.2 F.sub.4 OCF.sub.3, C.sub.3 F.sub.7 and also to a method of preparing them.The method according to the invention consists in that fluorobromo[alkyl(alkoxy)]benzenes having the general formula ##STR2## where: R.sub.F = OCF.sub.3 OC.sub.2 F.sub.5, OC.sub.2 F.sub.4 OCF.sub.3, C.sub.2 F.sub.4 OCF.sub.3, C.sub.3 F.sub.7 are treated with magnesium taken in a 5 - 20 per cent excess with respect to the stoichiometric quantity in a solution of absolute diethyl ether or absolute tetrahydrofurane at a temperature of 8.degree. - 60.degree. C.
