  • Publication number: 20230378500
Abstract: A fuel cell exhaust gas arrangement for a fuel cell system includes a fuel cell exhaust gas line through which fuel cell exhaust gas can flow, and a separating unit through which the fuel cell exhaust gas can flow. The separating unit includes an upstream line portion of the fuel cell exhaust gas line through which the fuel cell exhaust gas can flow in a main exhaust gas flow direction. A downstream line portion of the fuel cell exhaust gas line adjoins the upstream line portion in an opening region. A first liquid outlet opening in the opening region is provided to outlet liquid from the fuel cell exhaust gas flowing through the fuel cell exhaust gas line. A swirl flow generating unit is provided in the upstream line portion.

  • Patent number: 8577534
Abstract: A method and a device are described for scanning the surrounding environment of a vehicle. When the vehicle falls below a first boundary speed a timer is triggered whose state is incremented until the vehicle exceeds a boundary speed, a check of the unobstructed view of the scanning device being carried out upon expiration of the time period recorded by the state of the timer and in which the state of the counter is incremented.

  • Patent number: 8424291
Abstract: The present invention relates to a flame glow plug having a combustion chamber which has an outlet opening for the flame, a fuel supply, in particular a blockable fuel supply, for the provision of a fuel flow to the combustion chamber, an air supply for the provision of an air flow to the combustion chamber and an ignition device, in particular an electrically operated heating element, which is arranged in the combustion chamber or which extends into the combustion chamber and which is made to ignite the air/fuel mixture arising from the provided fuel flow and the provided air flow. The air supply is made controllable in quantity to selectively operate the flame glow plug as a torch or as a secondary fuel injection apparatus. The invention furthermore relates to a regeneration apparatus for a particulate filter of an exhaust gas system, to an exhaust gas system for a combustion engine as well as to a method for the operation of a regeneration apparatus.
