  • Patent number: 7891483
Abstract: A device for treating foodstuffs, in which the foodstuffs are conveyed by a conveyor belt through a treatment zone, such as tunnel freezers for freezing foodstuffs. The conveyor belt is supported by a frame on which sliding rails are mounted to reduce friction. The conveyor belt is guided over these sliding rails. To prevent hygiene problems such as those occurring due to gaps formed when the sliding rails are mounted on the carrier, the sliding rails are designed as self-supporting elements. The sliding rails here are preferably simply placed on the transverse bars of the supporting frame.

  • Patent number: 7310968
Abstract: A device for freezing and/or refrigerating articles, in which at least one cold gas generating device is provided in a refrigeration room and at least one fan is provided for distributing the cold gas in the refrigeration room. The fan is connected to a drive motor. In order not to damage the drive motor when cleaning the refrigeration room, the drive motor is accommodated in a motor room which is separate from the refrigeration room.

  • Patent number: 7111474
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for cooling products to be cooled, said device comprising a carrier for products to be cooled, a housing, a coolant supply for supplying coolant into the housing, and at least one opening of the housing for supplying and extracting the product to be cooled. At least one channel is provided in the region of the opening for receiving the coolant, said channel being actively connected to a suction-side connection of a fan and comprising an inlet which is arranged outside the housing, adjacent to the opening thereof. Preferably, two channels are provided, said channels being arranged opposite each other, adjacent to the opening, and being embodied in such a way that essentially only heated, gaseous coolant, i.e. which has already fulfilled its cooling purpose, is carried off, while removal by suction of the coolant which has not yet received the heat quantity is prevented from the inside of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060123826
Abstract: A method and a device for the removal of water ice from refrigeration units for the refrigeration of chilled goods to a temperature below the freezing point of water. The water ice is sucked out of the interior of the refrigeration unit by application of a suction fan and at least one suction nozzle, preferably located below a conveyer belt, to remove the water ice from the belt and the refrigeration unit.

  • Publication number: 20050120726
Abstract: A device and method is provided for cooling products, with a conveying belt which conveys the products through a cooling zone in which the products are exposed to an atmosphere which, by means of low-temperature gases, is brought to a temperature required for cooling the products. The conveying belt leads partially through an immersion bath consisting of liquefied low-temperature gas. At least one ventilator is mounted below the conveying belt such that it causes the temperature distribution in the cooling zone to be more uniform. Injection devices for liquefied low-temperature gas are provided, the injection devices being arranged in the proximity of the placing of the product onto the conveying belt below the part of the conveying belt loaded with the product, with a spraying direction aimed onto the conveying belt.

  • Patent number: 6725674
Abstract: A device and a method for cooling material exposes a material to a certain supply of cryogenic coolant using a conveying device. The configuration of the conveying device permits airtight packaging of the material and is designed according to a principle that is very similar to the paternoster conveying principle. The temperature in the device for cooling material can be set by metering devices for the cryogenic coolant. The airtight packaging of the material and the adjustable temperature setting provide an energy-efficient freezing unit with a small floor space requirement.
