Abstract: This invention relates generally to a method and apparatus to engage and suspend an electrical contact of a cylindrical and elongated configuration. In accordance with the invention and described is a hollowed out, cylindrical and elongated device having two pair of spaced apart cantilever beams which extend forwardly from a base to a pin receiving end wherein the counter levered beams of each pair are opposing each other and are equally spaced along the entire circumference wherein a pin like cylindrical object engages through the hollowed out portion and urges against the cantilevered beams in a fashion to increase the distance between the opposing beams.

Abstract: A running surface for a common exercise treadmill has an endless belt made of a rubber like material leaving a smooth finish to its upper and lower surfaces. At least one line of spaced apart holes penetrate the belt along its entire length. The holes enable fastening elements to affix generally circular rods to the upper surface to engage fastening eyelets by means of the fastening elements which are installed into at least one strengthening endless belt positioned below and urging against the lower extremity of the endless belt. The generally circular rods have prefabricated objects such as simulated cobblestones of various sizes and configurations in immediate adjacency to the upper extremity of the endless belt.

Abstract: This invention relates generally to a method and apparatus for electroplating selected portions of a high contact force, high elastic response range pin-receiving and cylindrical electrical contact having a pair of spaced apart cantilever beams which extend forwardly from a base to a pin-receiving end. In accordance with the invention at least one plating cell is provided including a cavity type of enclosure thereof in general matching the outer contour of the lower portion and pin receiving end of the contact whereas plating solution is ejected towards the pin receiving end including at least one conducting device for electric current is provided adjacent to the opposite region of the contact for engaging with thereof whereas electric current is being conducted.

At least one plating cell is provided adjacent the lower region for contacting the downwardly extending portion of the articles with plating liquid whereas the plating liquid is ejected towards the articles including at least one conducting device for electric current is provided adjacent to the upper region for engaging with the portion of article extending upwardly whereas the electric current is being distributed to articles evenly and complete.

Abstract: A contact insertion device comprises an arrangement of elements the like of independent linear multi axis actuator providing positioning and fixation for electrical connection element and cylindrical elongated electrical conductor article having a wire electrically attached to one end with opposite end being positioned in collinear fashion adjacent to an insulator cavity preselected by computer controlled enunciation and installed manually into pre selected cavity of electrical connection element. An independent linear actuator provides a test element connected to an enunciation element for verification of error free installation of conductor article into electrical connection element. Aforesaid independent actuators are being initiated by a controller having a computer assigned that is driven by an algorithm and feed back system capable of programmed selection for positioning and verification of non error completion for installation of electrical conductor article.

Abstract: An ice skate comprises a horizontal platform and a pair of opposing side brackets perpendicularly secured to an underside of the platform. A pair of opposing extension arms is pivotally engaged with each end portion of the side brackets, and an extender bracket is engaged with a center portion of the side brackets. Each extension arm has a torsion spring confined and arranged to enable the extension arm to pivot about the center axle within a certain range in tandem with the other of the pair of extension arms. A distal end of each extension arm has an axle non-rotatably engaged with a follower rotatably engaged in a vertical plane. Each follower is engaged with a horizontally elongated hole at front and rear end portions of the skating blade, and the extender bracket provides an additional follower engaged with a vertically elongated hole on a centerline of the skating blade.
