  • Publication number: 20210394712
Abstract: A vehicle lock includes a locking mechanism with a rotary latch and a pawl for latching the rotary latch when the vehicle lock is in a closed state, a receiver for receiving a reference code, a code transfer interface for obtaining an access code and a control unit which is configured such that the vehicle lock assumes an unlocked state when the obtained access code matches the reference code. The locking mechanism is used in a method for access-controlled loading and/or unloading of a vehicle. A high degree of automation of an access-controlled process for loading and/or unloading a vehicle can thus be achieved substantially with the aid of the vehicle lock.

  • Patent number: 9499061
Abstract: A charging device for an electric vehicle, which charging device can be protected against unauthorized access in a particularly reliable manner. The charging device for an electric vehicle has a bolt for locking a connection between the charging device and a further charging device. If the charging device is mechanically connected to a further charging device for charging purposes, this mechanical connection is then locked by a corresponding end of the bolt being moved into a retaining opening in the further charging device. A retaining opening of this kind can, for example, be damaged by a broken web which serves for locking such that locking is no longer possible. Therefore, a device is provided which can prevent movement of the bolt in the direction of a locking position when the retaining opening is damaged in this way. A locking arrangement which is damaged in the above manner therefore fundamentally does not remain unnoticed.

  • Publication number: 20120286525
Abstract: In order to produce a lock retainer (1) for locks, preferably motor vehicle locks, a rod-shaped raw material made of steel is first solidly shaped into the lock retainer (1) by means of cold extrusion in a plurality of sub-steps, wherein during said solid shaping process the final shape of the lock retainer (1) is produced in such a way that further processing steps can be omitted. The only remaining step then is to remove the opening (10) from the accordingly designed or shaped lock bow having the bow legs (5, 8) and to remove the retaining holes (3, 4) from the base plate (2) by means of punching or laser cutting or a similar process. The lock retainer (1) produced by means of such a method is characterized by a clear and smooth overall geometry, a surface structure (20?) being applied and optionally material being accumulated in the severely loaded areas and thus overall a lock retainer (1) not requiring further post-work being available after the sub-steps of the cold extrusion.

  • Publication number: 20070200357
Abstract: Taught is a motor vehicle door latch with a locking mechanism (1, 2) comprising a catch (1) and a pawl (2), said locking mechanism (1, 2) being capable of being moved along at least a first pathway and a second pathway; and at least one damping element (9), said damping element having at least a first damper constant and a second damper constant; wherein said damping element (9) is capable of damping a movement of said locking mechanism (1, 2) along said first pathway with said first damper constant; and said damping element (9) is capable of damping a movement of said locking mechanism (1, 2) along said second pathway with said second damper constant.

  • Patent number: 6631933
Abstract: A bolt assembly is used in combination with a door-post surface formed with at least one centering recess and a motor-vehicle door latch having a pivotable latch element. The assembly has a mounting plate having an inner face engaging the door-post surface and an opposite outer face, a bolt projecting from the outer face and engageable by the latch element, and at least one centering formation projecting from the inner face and engaged in the door-post surface. Friction-increasing surface formations are also provided on the inner face engageable with the door-bolt surface. They can be bumps or ridges formed on the inner flange face. When the flange is formed of a metal core with a plastic covering over the core, the formations are formed by the plastic covering.

  • Patent number: 6375234
Abstract: A latch is mounted between the inside and outside of a motor-vehicle door provided with a plurality of actuating elements and respective links extending from the elements and each having a respective movable part. The latch has latching and locking mechanism, a closed housing enclosing the mechanism and formed with a respective openings receiving free ends of the links, and seals in the openings engaged hermetically around the link free ends. The free ends are connected inside the housing to the mechanism. The housing includes a pair of housing parts that are hermetically joined to each other and the mechanism includes locking and latching elements received in the respective parts. The holes are all formed in one of the parts.
