Abstract: Disclosed are electronic systems and techniques for implementing an interactive financial interface that uses messages sent to and from financial institutions to view account information and interact with accounts at disparate financial institutions. The interactive financial interface can display balances of the accounts at the financial institutions, combined or individually, the interface can also show spending history, income history, and trend information which can be used to facilitate making financial decisions. Charts and graphs showing spending history and trends can also be sorted and filtered based on a number of criteria to better show relationships and patterns in the transaction history. Based on the trends and patterns, the interface can also provide recommendations to accomplish financial goals. The interface can also facilitate two-way communications with the financial institutions and instructions and commands can be sent to the financial institutions via the interface.

Abstract: Media content portions are generated based on received message inputs having words or phrases. The media content portions are recommended based on predetermined criteria, classification criteria, and/or user preferences. The media content portions are identified and extracted among media content based on predetermined criteria that can include a match of audio content with the words or phrases of the received message inputs. The media content portions correspond to the words or phrases of the message inputs and can further be recommended to a user based on additional criteria. The media content portions that are recommended can be included in multimedia message, which can be further communicated.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, devices and techniques that generate a set of media portions associated with a set of message inputs for a multimedia message based on a meaning of the words or phrases in the message inputs. A semantic component can determine segments of media content according to words or phrases that are different from words or phrases received. The semantic component is configured to determine portions of media content that convey the same meaning as the words or phrases received, and a multimedia message is then generated with the media content portions.

Abstract: A multimedia message is generated according to media content portions identified by a message input. The media content portions are identified from among media content that can include videos, images, and audio content that is associated or not associated with the media content portions respectively. The media content portions correspond to words or phrases of the message inputs. A multimedia message is generated having one or more of the media content portions corresponding to words or phrases received. Audio content of the media content portions can be separated and reassembled with different media content portions than originally associated with. The multimedia message comprises the media content portions having different audio content portions than initially.

The message input can include home video content, audio content, image content, and other media content. A social networking component can publish shared media content portions to a social network or data store and enable access to the shared media content portions. A multimedia message is generated having one or more of the shared media content portions that correspond to words or phrases received in the message inputs.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, devices and techniques that generate a set of media portions associated with a set of message inputs for a multimedia message based on an emoticon or an acronym. A text based message can be received having an emoticon or acronym. The emoticon or acronym is identified in the text based message. A splicing component extracts a set of media content portions from media content, in which the media content portions correspond to the emoticon or acronym received. A multimedia message is generated with the media content portions to convey the text based message as a multimedia message.

Abstract: Validation measures related to information obtained from publicly available data sources are generated for providing recommendations about a potential client. Trusted search criteria are used to obtain a set of query results. These results are used to gather metadata associated with a potential client for loan offers. The validation measures are initiated from the associations and used to modify the search criteria or identifying data for searching further. A credit worthiness score related to the potential client is configured based on the validation scores and relevancy of the data. The client information is updated dynamically with continued modification of the initial search criteria in order to alter a scope and improve an accuracy of information.

Abstract: Providing for client-selected user authentication in relation to accessing or acquiring online media content is described herein. In response to an access request transmitted by a client device, a server can determine a type of request employed by the client device and identify a type of media playback device associated with the client. Identification can be based on information specified within the access request, information derived from information pertaining to the access request, information derived from stored associations between access request and types of playback devices, or suitable combinations thereof. Once identified, promotional content or service(s) can be allocated to a subscriber account in response to the access request satisfying one or more criteria. In this manner, a service provider can facilitate client-selection of a mode of user authorization, while incentivizing a particular type of playback device for acquiring content from or generally interfacing with the service provider.

Abstract: Generally described is auto generation of an FAQ based on partly textual content. A network service can receive at least partly textual content. A FAQ can be generated based on the content. Questions within the FAQ can be ranked based on popularity, usefulness, etc. When a question in the FAQ is selected, a link can be generated to the portions of the content where the question and answer were derived from.

Abstract: Establishment of transactions via a data store, such as a data store, located in a network environment, such as a cloud computing environment is facilitated. The data store can store information about an entity, including information about one or more bank accounts and associated identifying information, and a third party can search the data store to find the entity. The entity can implement various access controls to restrict the amount of identifying information displayed as a result of the search. The third party can add the entity to a private data store based on access controls and verification procedures established by the entity. The third party can also establish transactions, such as electronic funds transfers, with the entity.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described for systems and methods effective to provide a content rating system to modify and weight ratings of online content. The content rating system can collect votes and ratings for online content received at a content rating portal, calculate the overall rating, and then weight the rating based on the number of votes collected. The ratings can be weighted downwards to compensate for the less statistically significant ratings. Once the number of votes collected passes a predetermined threshold, the ratings cease to be weighted. The ratings can also receive a confidence score that indicate a reliability or usefulness of the rating. The confidence score can be based on the items being voted on, and the voting history, among other factors.

Abstract: Generally described is auto annotation of video content for scrolling display. A network service can receive video content. The content can be automatically annotated to generate differing sets of the content. The varying sets of content can be scrolled in a content browser. In response to receiving a selection, from the content browser, of a set of video content among the scrolling sets of video content, the selection can be displayed while the scrolling continues during the display.

Abstract: Providing for single sign on (SSO) registration for local or network applications in conjunction with a multimedia display device is described herein. By way of example, SSO registration can comprise creating a registration account and linking one or more local or network applications with the registration account. SSO registration can facilitate auto-filling user data requests submitted by registration servers associated with the applications, in conjunction with registering a user for content or services provided by the respective applications. User verification, where requested, can be facilitated by digital certificate or other secure communication. Once registration is completed, a user can access content provided by an application by activating a linked application at the multimedia display device, or a remote device.

Abstract: Providing for single sign on functionality implemented for a network-enabled display device is described herein. By way of example, single sign on functionality can comprise accessing stored login credentials for a set of online content or service accounts, and initiating login requests to respective online servers for these accounts in response to a successful user verification or successful login to a subscriber account associated with the network-enabled display device. A user profile created for the network-enabled display device can comprise login credentials for online multimedia television content/services, and include login credentials for one or more other online accounts. Thus, upon successfully logging into a user's television services, other online accounts can be automatically logged in and access provided over the network-enabled display device, significantly reducing overhead involved in accessing online content from multiple service providers.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques that generate a set of measures for one or more users to rate media content. A user, for example, indicates her emotions towards the media content according to one or more various inputs. As inputs are received, the inputs are analyzed and associated with at least one of the set of measures to rate the media content according to an emotion. For example, the set of measures include images that indicate various emotions. These measures are associated with the inputs received from the one or more users, and used to evaluate the media content according to the one or more users emotions detected. Therefore, potential users have additional metrics for evaluating potential media content before purchasing, viewing, interacting with, or sharing the media content.
