Publication number: 20120058236Abstract: Disclosed are sweetener compositions comprising rebaudioside A and methods of making the sweetener compositions. The sweetener compositions comprise a highly soluble crystal form of rebaudioside A that displays, in some embodiments, a solubility at 24° C. in water of about 25 (grams rebaudioside A/per 100 grams water) or greater. The high solubility of the sweetener composition of the invention allows it to be used in applications such as syrups and concentrates.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 8, 2010Publication date: March 8, 2012Applicant: Cargill IncorporatedInventors: Lawrence E. Fosdick, John Joseph Hahn, Yauching W. Jasinski, Allan S. Myerson, Troy Allen Rhonemus, Christopher Austin Tyler, Guo-Hua Zheng

Patent number: 7751083Abstract: A method for automatically compensating for scanner metamerism errors associated with scanning input images using a digital color image scanner, wherein the input images can be on a variety of different input media having colorants with different spectral characteristics, comprising scanning an input image on a digital color image scanner to produce a scanned image; determining one or more estimated color balance error values in a color balance parameter space by analyzing the scanned image using a color balance analysis algorithm; assigning an input medium from a set of possible input media for the scanned input image in response to the estimated color balance error values; selecting a scanner metamerism correction color transform associated with the assigned input medium; and applying the selected scanner metamerism correction color transform to the scanned image to produce a corrected image compensated for scanner metamerism errors.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2007Date of Patent: July 6, 2010Assignee: Eastman Kodak CompanyInventors: David W. Jasinski, Kevin E. Spaulding, James A. Reczek

Publication number: 20060132808Abstract: Techniques for non-contacting thickness or caliper measurements of moving webs or sheets employ a sensor device that includes a first sensor head and a second sensor head that are spaced apart to define a path through which the moving web travels. The sensor device projects a laser generated, multiple points pattern onto the upper surface of the moving web. Pattern recognition algorithm analysis of the pattern identifies the orientation, e.g., tilt, of the moving web. The device further measures the film tilt, the distance between the first sensor head and the first web surface, the distance between the second sensor head and the second web surface, and the distance between the two sensor heads to provide a highly accurate on-line thickness measurement of the moving web.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 21, 2004Publication date: June 22, 2006Applicant: Honeywell International Inc.Inventors: W. Jasinski, Frank Haran

Patent number: 6628329Abstract: Images are sharpened and corrected for position dependent blur by providing a sharpening function which is adapted to operate upon signals corresponding to a selected number of pixels, providing a plurality of values which are a function of the position dependent blur; and applying the plurality of values to the sharpening function to modify the sharpening function so that after the modified sharpening function is applied to the image, a sharpened image will be provided which has been corrected for the position dependent blur.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 1998Date of Patent: September 30, 2003Assignee: Eastman Kodak CompanyInventors: Sean C. Kelly, Donald R. Williams, David W. Jasinski

Patent number: 4592536Abstract: Apparatus for moving a load, particularly a stack of panels, along a roof structure, including a plurality of spaced-apart roof rafters and transverse purlins comprising: a roof-mounted rail for mounting on said roof in vertical alignment with a purlin, a load-carrying cart comprising a carriage having rollers movable along the rail, and a load-carrying platform mounted on the carriage for longitudinal and vertical movement relative thereto including an inverted U-shaped elongate channel member. Mechanism is provided for relatively longitudinally moving the load-carrying platform and the carriage between rest positions and longitudinally displaced positions. The carriage and load-carrying platform include cooperating camming rollers and cam receiving slots which upwardly guide the platform relative to the carriage as the carriage and platform are relatively longitudinally moved, to lift the load relative to the roof structure for subsequent rolling movement via the carriage on the track.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 1983Date of Patent: June 3, 1986Inventor: Donald W. Jasinski
