The practitioner and/or computer program product selects a subset of the plurality of ingredients. An average of the primary effect strengths of the selected ingredients exceeds a specified primary effect threshold. In addition, an average of the secondary effect strengths of the selected ingredients is less than a specified secondary effect threshold. The practitioner and/or computer program product combines a sub-therapeutic dosage of each ingredient of the subset as a combined therapeutic dosage.
