    Abstract: A textile coating composition comprises a resin dispersed in an aqueous medium, a wax, and a polyvalent metal complex compound. An article of manufacture comprises a textile substrate and the coating which is carried by the textile substrate. A method of preparing a textile substrate comprises applying to a surface of the textile substrate the coating composition, and then heating the surface of the textile substrate to dry the coating composition.
