Abstract: The present invention pertains to a system and method for manufacturing paperboard key cards. The invention involves feeding a continuous paper web into a system that prints a pattern of insignia upon the web, and also stamps a magnetic stripe onto the web in a periodic manner. The web passes through a dicer, which cuts the cards out of the web via a patterned die. The cards are then sent to a conveyor to be stacked and packaged, while the remaining web is directed in a direction divergent from the card flow.

Abstract: A method for removing a gravel-pack screen from a wellbore. of a well which has been "gravel packed". When it is desired to remove the screen from the wellbore, a washstring is lowered down the wellbore and into the interior of said screen. A wash fluid is then flowed fluid down the washstring and out through said screen into said mass of gravel surrounding the screen to fluidize, loosen, and remove said gravel. Once the mass of gravel has been loosen, the screen can then lifted upward out of said wellbore by applying a normal upward force the workstring which suspends the screen within the well.

Abstract: An alternate-path, well screen made-up of joints and having a sleeve positioned between the ends of adjacent joints which acts as a manifold for fluidly-connecting the alternate-paths on one joint with the alternate-paths on an adjacent joint.
