  • Patent number: 9868677
Abstract: The present invention falls into the context of green chemistry and generically relates to a fertilizing and phytoprotective formulation and, in particular embodiment, to a film forming formulation that induces resistance to plants. The respective formulation, when applied to plants and/or fruits, results in the formation of a film on the surface of the material, which has a characteristic of photoprotection against UV-B and UV-C radiations, resistance kept in water, even after high hygroscopicity, greater stability at high ambient temperatures, formation of desired porosity and surface homogeneity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 26, 2013
Date of Patent: January 16, 2018
Assignees: EMPRESA BRASILEIRA DE PESQUISA AGROPECUARIA—EMBRAPA, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul
Inventors: Angela Diniz Campos, César Bauer Gomes, Fabiane Grecco Da Silva Porto, Irene Teresinha Santos Garcia, Irajá Ferreira Antunes, Bernardo Ueno, Luis Antônio Suita de Castro, José Francisco Martins Ferreira, Walkyria Bueno Scivittaro

  • Patent number: 8034149
Abstract: The present invention relates to obtaining a fertilizer with sustained release of phosphorus, enriched with other macro and micronutrients, which can be produced by pyrolysis of pyrobituminous shale, in combination with calcareous shale and with natural phosphatidic rocks. The invention presents a process for obtaining a solid fertilizer with sustained release of phosphorus, enriched with Ca, Mg, S, Si and micronutrients, by a combination of pyrolysis of a pyrobituminous shale at a temperature of 450-500° C., with the addition of calcareous shale and of a phosphatidic rock, which represents a promising innovation compared to the prior art, and will certainly serve to fill a gap in the availability of fertilizers permitted for use in agroecological systems.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 27, 2006
Date of Patent: October 11, 2011
Assignees: Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.-Petrobras, Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuaria-Embrapa
Inventors: Luiz Alberto Medeiros Novicki, Valmor Neves Vieira, Waldemar Jiro Torii, Clenio Nailto Pillon, Walkyria Bueno Scivittaro
