Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems for reducing engine idling of fuel-driven equipment, for example found on a wellsite and/or including hydraulic pumping systems are provided. In particular, systems and methods are provided for controlling the starting and shutdown of equipment powered by a fuel-driven engine, the system comprising of an energy accumulator comprising or consisting of one or more supercapacitors. The transmission, transmission fluid, or other components can be warmed to prolong time between engine restarts.

Abstract: A light-emitting system is provided which is removably attachable to headgear for personal illumination to enhance visibility of the user to others. The light-emitting system includes a housing that defines a receiving aperture and is configured to surround a portion of the headgear when the light-emitting system is removably attached to the headgear for use. The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method and flashing light safety device for cyclists' helmets which provides for a full 360.degree. elevated identification and protective warning to all surrounding drivers of vehicles. The use of the device will reduce accidents by pin-pointing the location of a cyclist in a stream of traffic or in intersecting lanes of traffic and thereby protect and enhance the safety of the cyclist using the device and the safety of those in vehicles in the surrounding traffic as well as pedestrians. The device is easily detachable for storage or carrying when not in use.
