  • Patent number: 10429674
Abstract: Safety glasses having integrated correction lenses, wherein connecting means in the style of retaining frames are arranged in or on the safety glasses in order to accommodate the correction lenses, comprising adapter rings as compensating bodies between the curvature of the outer contour of the safety glasses and the curvature of the inserted correction lenses, wherein the correction lenses of different power are matched to the adapter rings in a uniformly accurately fitting manner at the periphery of the correction lenses in the curvature and shape of the correction lenses and different powers of correction lenses can be inserted into the adapter rings in the space between the safety glasses and the inner curvature of the adapter rings, wherein the adapter rings are thicker in the nasal region and taper temporally, approximately in a wedge shape.

  • Publication number: 20190155048
Abstract: A method for fitting spectacle lenses into full rim spectacle frames, comprising machining the edge of the spectacle lenses to be fitted, wherein, a circumferential, step-like chamfer with a curvature determined as a section of a sphere surface with a defined radius is worked into the spectacle lens holders in the full rim spectacle frame on the front or back side, then the edge of the spectacle lenses is machined, in the form of a front-side or back-side circumferential step-like bevel with a curvature determined according to the sphere surface with a defined radius of the chamfer. The spectacle lenses are fitted into the holders in the full rim spectacle frames on the front or back side, with precise engagement of the bevel into the chamfer of the spectacle frame, and the inserted spectacle lenses are adhesively bonded and/or welded to the holders in the full rim spectacle frame.

  • Patent number: 10295843
Abstract: The invention relates to safety eyeglasses, in particular working safety eyeglasses or sports safety eyeglasses, having corrective eyeglass lenses for compensating defective vision, the safety eyeglasses comprising lateral protective parts (3) and eyeglass temples (5), wherein the safety eyeglasses (1) are designed as frameless eyeglasses and the corrective lenses (2) are designed as plastic lenses, which are rigidly connected to lateral protective parts (3) to be attached temporally, wherein the lateral protective parts (3) are integrally formed on the corrective lenses in an accurately fitting manner in the connection region to the corrective lenses (2) such that the curve course of the corrective lenses is reproduced by the lateral protective parts (3) in the connection region.
