Abstract: A method is described for scheduling a playlist from digital content supplied to a server in a multi-screen digital cinema theater. The playlist includes digital content stored in the server and that is subsequently projected in the digital cinema theater. The method includes: (a) generating and displaying a table of playlists currently available for scheduling; (b) generating and displaying a schedule table showing a schedule view for each screen as an elongated timeline bar representing a time dimension. The method further includes: (c) selecting a playlist from the table of playlists and specifying a scheduled start time and a selected screen; and (d) updating the schedule table by inserting the selected playlist as an elongated element into the elongated timeline bar for the selected screen, whereby the updated schedule table is used to schedule the selected playlist for the selected screen.

Abstract: A graphical system interfaces user selections with an image capture device by means of a series of display screens produced by a processor and presented to the user on a display device. After initiating a setup process for establishing an image capture, a graphical interface is generated including a plurality of display screens that establish an intuitive setup procedure for an inexperienced user. More specifically, the interface is based on a progressive disclosure of the screens, in particular by representing one or more screens with user accessible icons, such as file tabs on file folders, which are expandable into additional screens according to user intervention. Thereupon, user interaction with, e.g., a selected tab of a selected file folder produces two or more additional folders related to the selected tab.

Abstract: An apparatus for storing and automatically delivering mechanism cassettes and/or pallets containing cassettes to a reader. A storage and delivery is provided which defining a plurality of cassette retaining sites. A body encases the storage and delivery mechanism and has a portal adjoining the cassette loading sites for allowing casettes to be placed on or removed from the storage and delivery mechanism. Indicia is provided on panels adjacent the portal for identifying the cassette retaining sites and a guide bar is placed in front of the cassette read site. The panels are mounted to the apparatus by elastomeric mounts so as to minimize or prevent transmission of shock vibrations.

Abstract: A process for producing human-computer interface prototypes includes describing the interface prototype in a high-level graphics language having commands to describe asynchronous events, and to link asynchronous events to graphic objects. A graphic display portion of the interface prototype is managed such that the behavior of graphic objects follows the objects as they are repositioned in a display.
