  • Patent number: 5547273
Abstract: A rotary file cabinet defined by a base member on which is mounted a cabinet housing having two oppositely disposed access openings, wherein each opening is defined by a pair of support posts on which is mounted a canopy, wherein an improved rotary file assembly is rotatably mounted in the file cabinet and comprises an intermediate partition in which is formed a coaxial axle housing adapted to house an axle assembly that includes a central axle fixedly positioned between the canopy and the base member, whereby the rotary file assembly can be selectively positioned between an open or closed mode.

  • Patent number: 5312181
Abstract: A rotary file cabinet defined by a base member on which is mounted two oppositely disposed side walls and two oppositely disposed access openings, wherein each access opening is defined by a pair of post members and a canopy mounted to the post members, wherein a rotor file assembly is rotatably mounted on a vertical rotor support member defined by a fixed central axis positioned between the canopy and the base member of the cabinet housing, and wherein the rotor file assembly is formed having a coaxial support housing, a support frame mounted to the coaxial support housing, and a pair of oppositely disposed closure doors mounted to the support frame, defining a pair of storage bay sections disposed therebetween so as to provide access through the access openings of the cabinet housing when the file frame assembly is rotated from a closed position to an open position.

  • Patent number: 4180055
Abstract: A solar-heat-collector apparatus providing a means for gathering and concentrating solar radiation at a maximum collecting rate, regardless of the incident angle of the solar radiation impinging on the apparatus. The apparatus comprises an outer housing and an inner housing arranged in spaced relation to each other--forming an insulating gap therebetween. Disposed within the second housing is a continuously arranged solar-pipe system on which is affixed compatible, molded, heat-absorbing, finned bodies wherein the fin members thereof extend radially outward in a longitudinal array of panels arranged at various angular degrees about the pipe to increase the radiation impinging area, so as to receive the maximum solar energy as it enters through either side of the transparent housing at any given angular displacement.

  • Patent number: 4076201
Abstract: An adjustable chair-spindle assembly including the combination of a pneumatic and mechanical index mechanism which controls the height displacement of a seat supported by the assembly. By operating a hand lever positioned below the seat, the mechanical index mechanism is released from a locked arrangement, allowing the seat to be raised or lowered at a controlled rate by the pneumatic mechanism. The index mechanism comprises an index housing having a lift tube secured thereto which is operated by the handle lever, wherein the linear movement of the index housing allows the index and bearing balls to be disengaged from a locked position.
