The probe includes a connecting portion for attaching the probe to the barrel of the spray head; a disc portion, the connecting portion and the disc portion defining a through hole; and a shaft portion connected to the disc portion at one end and defining a tip end at another end. The probe may also include more than one shaft portion. In one embodiment, a conventional downtube is modified to function as a probe.
