Abstract: An optical observation instrument according to the invention, in particular a surgical microscope or exoscope, comprises an optics unit with an objective arrangement and at least one electronic image recorder, wherein the optics unit has a first stereo channel with a first beam path and a second stereo channel with a second beam path for recording a stereo image of an object field with the at least one electronic image recorder and wherein the first and the second beam path extend through the objective arrangement.

Abstract: A coating method is provided with the steps of dipping of containers filled with the parts to be coated, having a pierced container wall, into a section of a reservoir filled with a coating liquid, lifting the containers filled with the parts to be coated out from the coating liquid and dispersing and/or spinning off the excess coating liquid remaining on the parts being coated after they are lifted out. During dispersing and/or spinning, the container filled with the parts being coated is rotated about an axis of rotation situated inside the container filled with the parts being coated and at least for a time about an axis of rotation situated outside the container and running parallel to the axis of rotation situated inside the container.

Abstract: A flexible tube or hose, particularly to carry cables, tubes and the like between a fixed and a removable end position. The tube or hose is of rectangular cross-section, and has separate, ring-shaped links that intermesh at a joint or separating line by means of locking-and-closing elements, arranged to bend only in one direction. The tube links have the joint or separating line on the internal or external side of the bend. The axially parallel portions of the links are connected by interengagement, or by material engagement, e.g. soldering, welding or adhesion. At least every second locking-and-closing element is of such a width that, starting from extended or buckled position of the tube, it blocks the mutual movement of neighboring or adjoining tube links.
