Patent number: 11964603Abstract: The present disclosure provides a foot support device for a footwell of a vehicle. The present disclosure includes a plurality of support elements arranged one behind the other and rotatably connected to one another. The plurality of support elements can each move from a rest position to an active position upon the detection of a predetermined driving situation. When set in the rest position, the plurality of support elements are each arranged parallel to the floor of the footwell, and when set in the active position, the plurality of support elements are each inclined with respect to the floor of the footwell to support at least one foot of an occupant. The foot support device includes a drive arrangement lifting at least a foremost support element to the active position, which causes movement of a subsequent support element.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2020Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignees: AUDI AG, ZF Automotive Germany GmbHInventors: Bernd Jakobs, Franz Fürst, Walter Krönes, Christoph Grundheber

Patent number: 10494953Abstract: The invention relates to a casing for an aircraft engine, in particular a bypass pipe or fan casing, consisting of a plurality of hardened prepreg plies in which the fibers are oriented differently, and to a method for producing a casing of said type. In order to improve the resistance properties of the casing, especially in fire resistance tests, and reduce the amount of wasted prepreg material, at least one reinforcement ply is provided that consists of a prepreg strip having several windings, and the prepreg strip of each reinforcement ply includes a lateral overlapping portion.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2015Date of Patent: December 3, 2019Assignee: FACC AGInventors: Guenter Nelboeck, Andreas Wuertinger, Walter Fuerst

Patent number: 10035330Abstract: The invention relates to a fan case for an aircraft engine in the region of the fan thereof, comprising a plurality of substantially cylindrically arranged fiber-reinforced plastic layers that are joined together, wherein a reinforcement ply made of a glass fiber-reinforced plastic is disposed between an inner layer and an outer layer. According to the invention, the reinforcement ply consists of at least 20 plies of a glass fiber-reinforced plastic, and that deformation layers are disposed on both sides of the reinforcement ply, which deformation layers have a lower strength than the reinforcement ply.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2015Date of Patent: July 31, 2018Assignee: FACC AGInventors: Walter Fuerst, Ernst Haugeneder, Konstantin Horejsi, Boris Stubna, Andreas Hoellrigl

Publication number: 20130292004Abstract: Devices and methods are disclosed which automatically reconstitute a drug, such as e.g., a lyophilized drug. A vial (30) containing the drug is fluidly coupled to a cartridge (12) containing a reconstitution liquid with a fluid conduit (14f), wherein an entry point is defined where the fluid conduit enters the vial (30). The device (10) automatically adjusts orientation of the vial (30) such that the entry point of the vial is gravitationally higher than the drug in the vial (30), and automatically transfers the reconstitution liquid out of the cartridge (12) and into the vial (30) to create a reconstituted drug. The device (10) also automatically adjusts the orientation of the vial (30) such that the entry point of the vial is gravitationally lower than the reconstituted drug, and automatically transfers the reconstituted drug from the vial (30) and into the cartridge (12).Type: ApplicationFiled: August 10, 2010Publication date: November 7, 2013Applicant: F. Patent number: 7091325Abstract: A fibrin/fibrinogen binding conjugate for forming a depot for the sustained release of a pharmaceutically active substance from a fibrin clot. The conjugate comprises a fibrin/fibrinogen binding moiety bound to a pharmaceutically active substance either directly or via an intervening substance capturing moiety such as an antibody. The conjugate can also be a recombinant fusion protein comprising a fibrin/fibrinogen binding moiety such as VEGF165 C-terminal domain fused to a wound-healing substance such as leptin.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2003Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignees: Baxter Aktiengesellschaft, Baxter International Inc.Inventors: Heinz Redl, Walter Fuerst, Rudolf Kneidinger, Sam L.
