    Abstract: An automotive dome light control switch maintains the dome light illuminated for a first time period after a door is shut and for a second, shorter, time period after the ignition is turned off. If the ignition switch is turned on during the first time period, the dome light is immediately extinguished. The dome light may always be turned on by the dome light switch.
