Abstract: An aerosol composition for producing a surface having an abrasive grit adhered thereto, which composition can be dispensed from a suitable aerosol container, said composition comprising abrasive grit, a binder solution which is suitable for affixing said grit onto the surface comprising a polymeric resin and an organic solvent which dissolves said resin, the resin being capable of adhering to said surface and to said grit, and a liquid propellant. The present invention also provides an aerosol means for producing a surface having an abrasive grit adhered thereto comprising an aerosol dispensing means and having contained therein the aforementioned aerosol composition.

Abstract: The present invention provides a device and method for propelling liquids to long distances. The invention is especially useful for marking animals such as sheep for identification purposes.

Abstract: A water-based aerosol coating composition suitable for discharge from an aerosol container comprising: a monomer-modified alkyd resin which is rendered water-soluble by neutralization with a base, a rosin-modified maleic resin which is rendered water-soluble by neutralization with a base, a water-soluble organic solvent, water, and a propellant, preferably dimethyl ether. The composition provides a durable coating or film when applied onto a substrate. Further, the composition is non-flammable upon discharge.

Abstract: The present invention contemplates an aerosol composition adapted for providing a foam upon discharge from a suitable containment means, said composition comprising (a) a propellant, (b) water, (c) a water-insoluble polymer, (d) a surfactant, (e) a foam stabilizing agent, and (f) a solvent adapted for solvating said foam stabilizing agent, said foam remaining stable up to about ninety days if left undisturbed.
