  • Publication number: 20240000933
Abstract: The present invention provides compositions for the production of an antibody or functional fragment thereof directed against Tn antigen or sTn antigen. The compositions disclosed herein include isolated antibody or functional fragments thereof that binds to Tn antigen or sTn antigen and polynucleotides encoding the heavy chain and/or a light chain variable domains of such antibody or functional fragment. The invention also provides methods of treating or preventing a disease, such as cancer or tumor formation, wherein the antibody or functional fragment includes a variable heavy chain domain and a variable light chain domain that has an amino acid sequence provided herein. The invention further provides a conjugate of an antibody or functional fragment thereof conjugated or recombinantly fused to a localizing agent, detectable agent or therapeutic agent, and methods of treating, preventing or diagnosing a disease in a subject in need thereof.

  • Patent number: 4765814
Abstract: In a process proposed for purification of a gas stream at elevated pressure by nitrogen scrubbing, the gas stream to be purified and the nitrogen scrubbing stream are initially cooled to low temperatures. The gas stream is then scrubbed with liquid nitrogen and the purified gas stream is mixed with cooled, high-pressure nitrogen to form a mixture in which nitrogen accumulates partly as a liquid phase. The mixture thus formed is then heated and the liquid nitrogen contained therein is evaporated. Prior to scrubbing, either the nitrogen scrubbing stream itself or a partial stream of the nitrogen scrubbing stream or another process stream under a pressure lower than the working pressure of the nitrogen scrubbing step is at least partly condensed and then pumped to a higher pressure.

  • Patent number: 4488890
Abstract: For the low-temperature separation of a gaseous mixture containing essentially hydrogen, C.sub.1+ -hydrocarbons, and carbon monoxide, resulting in a purified gaseous mixture to be processed, after the low-temperature separation, in methanol synthesis, the gaseous mixture is cooled and subsequently fed to a scrubbing column to scrub out the C.sub.1+ -hydrocarbons with liquid CO. A product containing essentially hydrogen and carbon monoxide is obtained at the head of the scrubbing column. The resultant liquid CO, loaded essentially with the C.sub.1+ -hydrocarbons, is withdrawn as the sump product from the column and introduced into a C.sub.1+ -CO separating column.

  • Patent number: 4305733
Abstract: A method for the recovery of a methane-rich natural gas from a natural gas containing, apart from methane, also hydrogen sulfide, carbondioxide, higher hydrocarbons and, in most cases, organosulfur compounds. According to the invention a hydrocarbon fraction of C.sub.4 hydrocarbons and higher is naturally removed from the natural gas which is then subjected to a selective scrubbing for the removal of hydrogen sulfide with a regeneratable extraction, of scrubbing liquid. Next a C.sub.3 fraction is removed, the remaining gas being scrubbed with a second regeneratable washing agent, for the removal of carbondioxide to leave the methane-rich gas.

  • Patent number: 4226460
Abstract: A long-distance truck or trailer cabin in which a bin is arranged above the windshield in an angular space between the roof and the front wall of the cabin. The bin is confined by a horizontal bottom and a rear end wall. The bin, furthermore, has a sliding curtain arranged at the front wall and the side walls to cover the side windows and the windshield. The curtain, moreover, is suspended in a continuous runner. A compartment is provided in a recess in the horizontal bottom at substantially the center of the cabin. The compartment has a downward-directed opening and a cover which is pivotally supported by horizontal hinges. The runner extends across the opening section of the compartment. The cover may be provided with a shape conforming to a bulging cylindrical shelf or cupped saucer. A curtain, furthermore, may part vertically at substantially the center of the cabin.
