  • Publication number: 20070127231
Abstract: An outdoor umbrella includes an awning, an umbrella frame, an illumination system, a power supplying system, a solar energy supplying system, and a powering control circuit. The power supplying system includes a rechargeable battery supported by the umbrella frame and is electrically connected with the illumination system for supplying electrical power to the illumination system. The solar energy supplying system includes a solar energy collection unit for collecting solar energy, and a solar battery unit. The powering control circuit electrically connects the solar battery unit with the rechargeable battery to coordinate a power supply to the illumination system, wherein the powering control circuit selectively switches the power supply of the illumination system between the power supplying system and the solar energy supplying system for ensuring the illumination system obtaining sufficient power to provide optimal level of illumination.

  • Publication number: 20070079855
Abstract: An outdoor canopy includes a canopy frame, a canopy shelter and a side entrance arrangement. The canopy frame includes a roof frame and a legs frame downwardly extended from the roof frame to form a canopy area. The canopy shelter, which is made of waterproof fabric, is detachably fastening at the canopy frame to define a ceiling wall, a front wall, a rear wall and two sidewalls for enclosing the canopy area therewithin. The side entrance arrangement is formed on one of the sidewalls of the canopy shelter for a user to gain entry to and exit the canopy area without having to pass through the front entrance, wherein the side entrance arrangement contains a side entrance opening formed on the corresponding sidewall of the canopy shelter, and comprise at least one entrance fabric operatively mounted on the corresponding sidewall.

  • Publication number: 20070079856
Abstract: A vehicle canopy includes a canopy frame defining a canopy area therein. A front cloth panel, a rear cloth panel and two side cloth panels are connected with each other to form a canopy cloth structure to cover the canopy frame so as to normally conceal the canopy area within the canopy frame. One of the front and rear cloth panels provides a door for entrance and exit and the side cloth panels provide side doors which are constructed to be selectively closed or opened for facilitating entrance and exit. The top canopy provides a plurality of ventilating skylights constructed to be selectively closed or opened for allowing air passing therethrough for ventilating the canopy area via the ventilating skylights. In addition, the height of the vehicle canopy is constructed to be adjustable.

  • Publication number: 20070056617
Abstract: An outdoor umbrella includes an awning, an umbrella frame, an illumination system, and a solar energy collection system. The solar energy collection system includes a supporting adjustor and a solar energy collector. The supporting adjustor has an upper pivot portion, and a lower retention portion detachably mounted on the top portion of the supporting post. The solar energy collector, which is electrically connected with the illumination system, is pivotally mounted on the pivot portion of the supporting adjustor at a position above the awning, wherein the solar energy collector is adapted to selectively adjust a tilt angle with respect to the supporting post for directly facing towards sunlight to maximize solar energy collection so as to supply electrical power to the illumination system.
