Abstract: The present invention relates to the method for preventing the liquid in the filtering plug-in card form dripping and a plug-in-card type liquid purifying and filtering device. The said liquid purifying and filtering device comprises the water pump, filtering cylinder and filtering plug-in card. In particular, at the top of the said filtering cylinder is equipped with the disassembled filtering plug-in card retainer. When the filtering plug-in card is taken out, such disassembled filtering plug-in card retainer is utilized to place the said filtering plug-in card, thus enabling such filtering plug-in card to leave the liquid level inside the filtering cylinder. In addition, it can set the disassembled top cap retainer for the said filtering cylinder. When the said top cap is disassembled, the disassembled top cap retainer is used to place the said top cap.

Abstract: A method and system for profiling a user based upon a user's previous on-line actions is provided. The profile provides a characterization of the user's preferences based upon a received user event. The user event identifying event identification information and a user identifier. A look-up in a cached web map is performed to retrieve classification information associated with the event identification information. A user profile is retrieved or created for the user identifier. Profile update information is generated based upon the retrieved classification information for the user event, to identify how the user is to be updated based upon the retrieved classification information and defined profiling rules. The user profile is updated and stored for access by an external advertising server. The classification information provides a text-score record comprising a text string and a score defined in relation to a lexical ontology comprising a hierarchy of categories.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a transportation device comprising one riding wheel, a U-shaped frame, and a stepping assembly. The riding wheel is mounted between the two ends of the U-shaped frame and the stepping assembly is mounted on the axle of the riding wheel. The stepping assembly contains a foot pedal and one or two supporting legs with an optional stepping wheel beneath the foot pedal. This device can conveniently convert between a riding mode and a walking mode to allow rider skate, walk, and stand in various ground surfaces.

Abstract: A protection system for a display apparatus and a method thereof are provided. The protection system includes an electronic key and a protection module. The protection system performs security identification with a plurality of passwords and updates the passwords every time after the security identification is completed to improve the security of the display apparatus. The display apparatus is allowed to be turned on when one of the passwords is correct, and the passwords are separately updated after the security identification is completed. The protection system is highly secure and provides greater convenience to users.

Abstract: A detection system and method for detecting received video signal type within a video device. The video device comprises a plurality of signal receivers; the signal receiver is used for receiving a signal, wherein each of the signal receivers receives one type of the corresponding video signal. First, the video device receives the signal, wherein the receivers receives a signal, directly detects one of the signal receivers which is carrying the video signal, and determines the type of the video signal being inputted to the signal receiver; and finally sending the video signal to an image processor for image processing.
