Abstract: A feed transport device for moving a feed within a non-planar focal surface defined by a satellite communications antenna, comprises first and second non-linear rails, and a feed transport unit comprising a feed support member for supporting the feed, and first and second slidable members slidably mounted on said first and second rails respectively to permit each slidable member to slide along the length of its respective rail, wherein one end of the feed support member is pivotally attached, not necessarily about a single pivot axis, to the first slidable member, the other end of the feed support member is both slidably and pivotally, again not necessarily about a single axis, attached to the second slidable member, and the first and second rails are shaped and positioned to maintain the feed in, or near to, said focal plane during movement of the feed support member along the first and second rails.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for stretching and folding a limp fabric piece (40) comprising transporting the fabric piece (40) in a stretched condition to foldable support (41), mechanically, sequentially gripping and stretching marginal portions (46) of the fabric piece (40) on each side of the fold line (51) of the foldable support (41) by means of selectively operable fingers (45), folding one section (50) of the foldable support (41) over the other, clamping overlapping marginal portions (46), unfolding the foldable support (41) while concurrently releasing fingers (45) from engagement with the fabric piece (40).

Abstract: A laundry machine having an agitator shaft rotatable backwards and forwards by an electronically controlled electric motor when in a washing mode and continuously in one direction when in a spinning mode has the agitator shaft connected to an interconnecting member spaced radially from its axis engageable with a connector for a concentric spin tub shaft to carry the spin tub with it when in the spin mode. The connection between the agitator rotating system and the spin tub rotating system are effected through an energy absorbing device which absorbs energy resulting from the change in relative speeds necessary to achieve speed equalization between the two systems.

Abstract: A spray dispenser for a container of a fluid under pressure, having a schrader type discharge valve; consists of a handpiece removably secured on the container and having a spray discharge nozzle in tubular connection with the valve, a movable trigger mounted on the handpiece and connected to the valve so that the trigger is operable to open the valve against the influence of a spring forming part of the valve, and an interlock lever fulcrumed on the handpiece, which is resiliently influenced to obstruct movement of the trigger but is hand-releasable to permit such movement.
