Abstract: A brewing filter includes a hollow, substantially funnel-shaped body defining therewithin a brewing cavity adapted to receive a brewing material. The body is at least partially formed by a perforated filter material. The body has a top portion defining an open top end and a bottom portion including a closed bottom end. The bottom portion and the top portion respectively define bottom and top lateral profiles. The bottom lateral profile is laterally recessed relative to the top lateral profile. A transition line located between the top and bottom portions forming a visually-identifiable demarcation within the brewing cavity.

Abstract: Wearable capture and communication is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes capturing a sensory data when a recording module of a wearable device is enabled; and wirelessly communicating the sensory data to a remote storage device through a network. Communicating the sensory data may be automatically performed on an interval while the sensory data may be temporarily buffered in a memory module of the wearable device between each of the interval. The method may further include automatically generating an output data on the wearable device based on a command received through the network. At least one parameter associated with the wearable device may be remotely programmed based on a configuration data received in a network enabled application. The method described herein may be in a form of a machine-readable medium embodying a set of instructions that, when executed by a machine, cause the machine to perform the method.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for wearable notification are disclosed. In one example embodiment, a method includes communicating a trigger data to a wearable device when processing an incoming signal, automatically generating a response on the wearable devise based on the trigger data, and remotely programming at least one parameter associated with the wearable notification devise. The method may be in a form of a machine-readable medium embodying a set of instructions that, when executed by a machine, cause the machine to perform the method. The wearable device may be physically coupled to a biological external tissue of the human body. The processing of the incoming signal may be performed on a mircroprocessor in a housing detachably attached to a telephone, and may be based on a parameter value of a kitchen appliance having a timer, or a state change of a doorbell.

Abstract: The present invention provides plastic-based fiber-reinforced honeycomb, and a process for its preparation. The fiber-reinforced honeycomb has high temperature durability yet can be fabricated and handled by simple techniques. Honeycomb structures in accordance with this invention have the strength, impact resistance and processing characteristics of thermoplastic materials and yet offer high temperature resistance and solvent resistance characteristics which permit such processing steps as the application of multiple coatings for purposes of density adjustment and enhancement of mechanical properties.
