The main part includes a back face, a front face, and a bottom. The remote controller is in the abnormal installation state due to a shape and a centroid when the remote controller is placed on a horizontal surface. The control part performs a limited control that includes limitation of a control of the air-conditioning apparatus based on the environment temperature.

    Abstract: In a central air-conditioning system and method, a distribution mechanism distributes warm air or cool air generated by an air-conditioning unit to a plurality of rooms in a house. A control device controls the distribution mechanism to adjust a temperature of each room. A plurality of room terminals are provided as a device each dedicated to a room. Each room terminal receives an input of a preset temperature for the room and detects temperature of the room, and outputs the received preset temperature and the detected room temperature to the control device. The control device judges whether or not a specified room terminal is mounted in a specified room, based on a transition of control of the distribution mechanism in the specified room and a change in the detected temperature. The control device stops air-conditioning the specified room when judged that the specified room terminal is not mounted in the specified room.

In the apparatus, a microcomputer starts an output of an ON command signal when started, subsequently continues the output of the ON command signal when a detected temperature inside a room is lower than a predetermined determination temperature, and stop the output of the ON command signal when the detected temperature is equal to or higher than the predetermined determination temperature. A protective opening and closing unit closes a first power supply path between a voltage input terminal and an internal alternating-current power supply line when the ON command signal outputted from the microcomputer is supplied, and opens the first power supply path when the supply of the ON command signal is stopped.

The transmission unit has such play that when the conveying motor is switched from rotation in a normal direction to rotation in a reverse direction, rotation of the second roller in a backward direction is delayed by a predetermined time period from rotation of the first roller in the backward direction. The predetermined time period is greater than a time period corresponding to one tooth of the first rotary member.
