  • Patent number: 11936975
Abstract: Embodiments include providing a computer vision video stream and a human vision video stream using a single camera. The camera can comprise a single, high-resolution senor and a wide-angle lens providing high resolution video having a wide aspect ratio field of view. The streams can be generated, wherein the computer vision video stream maintains the wide aspect ratio field of view and the human vision video stream comprises high resolution video. The computer vision video stream can be provided to a computer vision system, wherein the computer vision system uses the computer vision video stream as input for an automated process, and the human vision video stream can be provided to a system that displays the human vision video stream to a user.

  • Publication number: 20240057275
Abstract: An assembly for stacking a plurality of circuit boards of an electronics package is provided. The assembly may comprise a chassis structure, a first plurality of printed circuit board (PCB), and a second plurality of PCBs, where the second plurality of PCBs are configured to be coupled to connectors of the first plurality of PCBs that are accessible via connection access points in the chassis structure. The first plurality of PCBs is positioned on a first side of the chassis structure, and the second plurality of PCBs are positioned on a second side of the chassis structure. Positioning tolerancing of the second plurality of PCBs relative to the first plurality of PCBs is provided by the connectors of the first plurality of PCBs.

  • Publication number: 20230328890
Abstract: A camera assembly includes a first printed circuit board separated from a second printed circuit board. A flex circuit electrically connects the first printed circuit board to the second printed circuit board. An image sensor is attached to the first printed circuit board and a connector is attached to the second printed circuit board. The image sensor of the camera assembly is mechanically and physically separate from the connector. The first printed circuit board is connected to the second printed circuit board via a flexible circuit. The flexible circuit is elastically moveable between an assembled state and a disassembled state.

  • Publication number: 20230309264
Abstract: An assembly includes a condenser plate, a plurality of pads and one or more heat-pipes. The condenser plate includes a plurality of apertures. Each of the plurality of apertures overlaps a location of a corresponding one of a plurality of integrated circuits. Each of the plurality of pads is disposed within each of the plurality of apertures and is configured to move in a vertical direction. The one or more heat-pipes are attached to the condenser plate and the plurality of pads and are configured to move in the vertical direction. Each of the plurality of pads is configured to be in thermal connection with the corresponding one of the plurality of integrated circuits by a movement of the one or more heat-pipes in the vertical direction to transfer to the condenser plate, thermal energy received by each of the plurality of pads from the plurality of integrated circuits.

  • Publication number: 20230204781
Abstract: A vehicle may perform time of flight (ToF) calculations or determinations using passive sensors (e.g., passive image sensors) with existing onboard vehicle light sources to generate depth data and a depth image of a scene surrounding the vehicle. For example, the vehicle may use an automotive camera (e.g., a passive sensor that does not emit light) and may pair the camera with one or more light sources on the vehicle to construct a ToF camera. To accomplish this construction of a ToF camera using existing automotive cameras and existing light sources, a controller of the vehicle synchronizes the passive automotive cameras to the onboard light sources. In some examples, the vehicle can enable a high dynamic range (HDR) for the ToF cameras by varying properties of the light emitted from the light sources.

  • Patent number: 10002731
Abstract: A rocker input mechanism includes an actuator that is operable to pivot against the interior surface of a housing through which an actuation surface of the actuator projects. Pivots or up-stops on the edges of the actuator are biased against the interior surface by dome switches contacting a switching surface of the actuator that is opposite the actuation surface. Thus, the actuator is able to pivot with respect to the interior surface to activate the dome switches when force is exerted on the actuation surface without bending or flexing like typical rocker buttons. As a result, the rocker input mechanism may have a feel to a user similar to non-rocking input mechanisms like single mode buttons.
