  • Patent number: 11699091
Abstract: Qubit circuits having components formed deep in a substrate are described. The qubit circuits can be manufactured using existing integrated-circuit technologies. By forming components such as superconducting current loops, inductive, and/or capacitive components deep in the substrate, the footprint of the qubit circuit integrated within the substrate can be reduced. Additionally, coupling efficiency to and from the qubit can be improved and losses in the qubit circuit may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 11016360
Abstract: The performance of an electro-optic modulator depends in part on the capacitance, the inductance, the electric field distribution, and the signal insertion loss of a microwave transmission line that modulates the refractive index of a waveguide via the electro-optic effect. Conventional electro-optic modulators are typically unable to improve one of these properties without negatively affecting other properties, resulting in lower performance. These shortcomings may be overcome, in part, by the inclusion of capacitive structures to decouple these properties. The capacitive structure may include a fang and/or a hook to tune the capacitance and the electric field distribution without appreciably changing the inductance or the signal insertion losses.

  • Publication number: 20200054129
Abstract: A handgun security display rack includes a frame having a back plate. A lock is configured to lock a locking door to the frame in a locked position. An elongated rod is coupled to the frame by a rod support. A trigger guard post is coupled to either the locking door or the frame. The trigger guard post is positioned to be disposed within a trigger guard of a gun when the elongated rod is disposed within a barrel of the gun in the locked position.

  • Publication number: 20160082139
Abstract: A deodorizer for insertion into athletic and other equipment, having an outer housing that is infused with an antimicrobial agent and that has ventilation holes, and containing silica within the outer housing. The silica absorbs moisture that allows bacteria to grow and the antimicrobial infused outer housing kills existing bacteria, thereby reducing bacteria and odor.

  • Publication number: 20130036873
Abstract: The present invention is a nail placement device that includes an enter rod that allows the device to extend into a confined area wherein the enter rod's diameter forms an indentation on the distal end of the enter rod and a magnetic tip disposed on the distal end of the enter rod that secures a nail to be sunk into a desired surface within the relatively confined area. The device also includes an inner rod that receives the proximal end portion of the enter rod that is weighted that enhances any force utilized to set the nail with the device and an ergonomically designed handle to accommodate the user's fingers and a raised distal end to prevent the user's fingers and grasping hand from sliding off of the handle while utilizing the device.

  • Patent number: 7512907
Abstract: In an embodiment, data models are stitched into a stitched data model, where each of the data models has nets and at least one of the nets crosses a package boundary. A subset of the nets from the stitched data model are selected based on a constraint, and the subset is stitched into a common rule. In various embodiments, the constraints may include a wire length, a name of the nets, and maximum numbers of vias or T-connections. If the nets are completely wired, then wire segments between nodes of the nets are connected and nodes that include non-branching vias are moved. If the nets are not completely wired, then for any of the nets that have an open connection, a rule is found with a same number of the nodes as the net with the open connection, and the nets are ordered based on the rule.

  • Patent number: 6915873
Abstract: A suspended drive axle and agricultural tractor having same including a central housing having inboard final drives and left and right axle housing suspended therefrom by upper and lower control arms with axle shafts extending outwardly therefrom to which wheel and tire assemblies are mounted. A constant velocity universal joint is provided between the inboard final drives and the axle shafts. The universal joint having a pair of journal members and a coupling yoke that radially surround the drive and driven yokes of the joint whereby the axial length of the universal joint is minimized to enable the wheels to be located on the axle shafts at 60 inch tread spacing. This allows the drive axle to be used on a row crop tractor without altering the structure of the vehicle from a conventional row crop tractor whereby the characteristics of a row crop tractor are maintained.

  • Patent number: 5865615
Abstract: A gas burner assembly has a sheet metal base section having a generally constant wall thickness and a sheet metal burner cap also having a generally constant wall thickness. The burner cap includes a plurality of burner ports and the burner cap is removably secured to the base section to define a gas chamber. The removability of the burner cap allows easy cleaning of the burner ports as well as the rest of the burner assembly. The base section is secured to the cook top by a twist lock arrangement which simplifies removal of the complete burner assembly without the need for tools when cleaning or maintenance is required.

  • Patent number: 5836296
Abstract: A gas range includes a gas distribution system which utilizes a gas manifold that includes a single gas inlet chamber. Communication between the gas inlet chamber and each of the burners is controlled by a respective valve assembly mounted in the gas inlet chamber. One of the valve assemblies is thermostatically controlled in response to a sensed temperature. The length of the gas manifold can be dictated by the spacing of the individual valve assemblies or it can be dictated by the spacing of the burners. The gas distribution system provides additional flexibility to the range designer while reducing costs by eliminating components.

  • Patent number: 5833280
Abstract: A mechanical joint tube assembly and method of creating the same is disclosed for providing an improved fluid fitting assembly. A fitting having a primary tapered bore is forced onto a tube that has a larger diameter. The tube is radially contracted in certain portions and is radially expanded in other portions of the fitting in order to create a plurality of compression seals. A collar of the fitting is crimped around the bead that is formed in the tube in order to provide an additional compression seal and means for retaining the tube within the fitting. Alternative forms of the primary bore in the fitting includes a hexagonal shaped configuration, a splined shaped configuration and a slotted collar configuration for enhancing retention of the tube within the fitting. A unique method of manufacturing is used to make these tube fitting assemblies.

  • Patent number: 5829425
Abstract: A gas range includes a gas distribution system which incorporates a multi-chambered gas manifold. The gas manifold includes a single gas inlet chamber and a plurality of gas outlet chambers. Communication between the gas inlet chamber and each gas outlet chamber is controlled by a respective rotating disc element which controls the flow of gas between the two chambers. The length of the gas manifold can be dictated by the spacing of the individual disc elements or it can be dictated by the spacing of the burners. The gas distribution system provides additional flexibility to the range designer while reducing costs by eliminating components.
