The receiving compartment is sealable to minimize signal emissions from the interior to the exterior and from the exterior to the interior, and the noise generator is coupled with the receiving compartment and the EMI filter. The EMI filter is operatively coupled with the noise generator.

Abstract: A Joint Combined Aircrew Systems Tester (JCAST) that can be used to test aircrew integrated life support equipment currently authorized for use by aircrew members of the Air Force, Navy and Army. The JCAST will be capable of Chemical/Biological seal testing of all the Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) variants including the Type 2 JSAM for high performance aircraft. Like traditional Testers, the JCAST is capable of Performance and Fit Testing of masks at pressure levels, including COMBAT EDGE (Combined Advanced Technology Enhanced Design “G” Ensemble), consistent with aircraft supply levels. The JCAST provides an apparatus and technique for accurately measuring a leak rate for an elastic body such as a chemical mask at 0.5 sccm at 6 IWG. The JCAST is portable and light weight while providing novel leak testing using pressure decay.

Abstract: A portable hoist has a U-shaped base, a tail assembly with at least a tail leg, an adjustable, telescoping mast secured to the base, a transverse lifting beam secured to the top of the mast and having a roller at each end, and a lifting system attached to a lower portion of the mast and adjacent the base. The lifting system has a winching mechanism and a lifting cable that extends vertically from the winching mechanism to one of the rollers of the lifting beam, across to the second roller and downwardly ending in a free end.
