  • Patent number: 9274762
Abstract: A method for developing an object-oriented system includes receiving, at a computer, a request to transliterate a textual flow of events into an activity diagram and transliterating the textual flow of events into an activity diagram where the activity diagram comprising a plurality of actions and a plurality of objects. The plurality of actions are affinitized into a plurality of classes where each of the plurality of classes comprising at least one of the plurality of actions. The affinitized actions are defined for each of the plurality of classes as operations for each of the respective classes. One or more of the plurality of objects are defined as operations for one or more of the plurality of classes. A model is displayed representing the object-oriented system.

  • Publication number: 20120272190
Abstract: The system relates to a method for graphically organizing and orchestrating mission-related services during mission execution. In one aspect of the method, a plurality of individual services are selected and stored in a registry. The individual services are then associated with a graphical representation and interface definition. In another aspect, the graphical representation of each service is displayed to a user, who can then interconnect the services using a display, thereby creating a mission-related application.

  • Patent number: 7900189
Abstract: In one aspect, a method to generate executable instructions includes incorporating tacit knowledge into an artifact and actively linking electronically the artifact to at least one other artifact of a system. The artifact and the at least one other artifact form a meta-artifact associated with a domain. The method also includes generating the executable instructions based on the meta-artifact. The meta-artifact is configured to dynamically change over time through an iterative process.

  • Patent number: 6031519
Abstract: A holographic direct manipulation interface includes detecting means, holographic display means and processing means to enable a user to input commands to a computer and display the desired output. A CPU stores data that enables a holographic display unit to generate a holographic display or hologram. A motion detector detects the movement of an object designated by the user as a command object. The object whose motion is detected can be designated as a finger on the user's hand or any passive or active moveable object can be chosen to be designated as the command object. A command is implemented by a computer when the command object moves within a threshold distance of a command point located within, on or near the hologram, or when the command object performs a contact code.
