    Abstract: Ghost routing is a network verification technique that uses a portion of a production network itself to verify the impact of potential network changes. Ghost routing logically partitions the production network into a main network and a ghost network. The main network handles live traffic while the ghost network handles traffic generated for diagnostic purposes. The ghost network may have a network topology identical to the production network and may use the same hardware and software as the production network. An operator may implement a network configuration change on the ghost network and then use verification tools to verify that the network configuration change on the ghost network does not result in bugs. Verifying on the ghost network may not affect the main network. If the network operator verifies the network configuration change on the ghost network, the network operator may implement the network configuration change on the main network.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the manufacturing of railway steel rail, and a post-weld heat treatment method for 1,300 MPa-level low-alloy heat-treated steel rail. The method comprises: (1) subjecting a steel rail welded joint having a residual temperature of 900-1,100° C. to a first stage cooling to lower the welded joint surface temperature to 650-720° C.; (2) subjecting the steel rail welded joint to a second stage cooling to lower the welded joint surface temperature to 480-550° C.; (3) subjecting the steel rail welded joint to a third stage cooling to lower the welded joint surface temperature to 10-30° C. The heat treatment takes advantage of the welding waste heat and does not require a reheating. The martensitic structure in the metallographic structure of the steel rail welded joint can be controlled to ?1% and the fatigue life can reach 3 million times, which is conducive to operation safety of the railway.

    Abstract: In embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a solution for establishing queues between threads in a user space. After creating a first thread on a first application and creating a second thread and a third thread on a second application, a socket connection between the first application and the second application is established in the user space of the operating system. Then, a first queue is established between the first thread and the second thread, while a second different queue is established between the first thread and the third thread. Embodiments of the present disclosure can avoid lock-based queue sharing by setting a separate queue for each pair of threads. Thus, the lockless queue mechanism according to embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the performance of the operating system significantly.
