  • Publication number: 20210124972
Abstract: An optical character recognition (OCR) system disclosed herein may include three major parts: Training Data Generator, Training Module and main OCR module. The Training Data Generator may include an arbitrarily large library of fonts, a set of variable font parameters, such as font size and style (e.g., bold, italic, etc.), and position in the synthesis image. Additionally, an end-to-end training pipeline allows the OCR algorithm to be highly customizable and scalable to different scenarios. Furthermore, the OCR system can be effectively trained without any real-world training data.

  • Patent number: 6767251
Abstract: An electrical connector (1) has an insulative housing (10), a plurality of terminals (30) and a metal shield (40). The housing has a front wall (100), a mating portion (12) projecting forwardly from the front wall, two side walls (105) respectively defining a pair of gaps (22) therethrough, and a rear wall (102) defining a pair of notches (24) in communication with the gaps. The mating portion defines a plurality of passageways (16) for receiving the contacting sections (34) of the terminals. The shield has a lower wall (58) and two side walls (42). The lower wall of the shield has a pair of downwardly protruding portions (59). The side walls of the shield respectively form a pair of fastening portions (44) projecting through the gaps of the housing and bend inwardly into the notches.

  • Patent number: 6599140
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a connector (1) and a placement, member (2) assembled on the connector to provide a vacuum suction surface. The placement member includes a main plate (20) having a substantially planar upper surface (200) and an opposite lower surface (201). A plurality of positioning legs (22) extends downwardly from the lower surface and adjacent to a pair of opposite edges of the main plate. Two U-shaped retaining portions (21) extend from another pair of opposite edges of the main plate. Each retaining portion has a beam (212) and a pair of projecting legs (210) extending downwardly from the beam. The pairs of projecting legs abut against the inner surfaces of connector sidewalls (31). The positioning legs fit in slots (310) defined in outer surfaces of the sidewalls.

  • Patent number: 6435905
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) including a housing (1), a number of terminals (2), a pair of metallic boardlocks (4), and a conductive shield (3). The housing has a base wall (12) that defines at each of opposite ends thereof a recess (121) and a pair of cutouts (123) located symmetrically in a front surface and a bottom surface thereof, and a mating wall (11). Each cutout surrounds a projection (122). Each boardlock consists of a body (44), a head (42) projecting upwardly from the body and seated in a corresponding recess, a pair of arms (45) projecting from the body and locking to the projections, and a pair of feet (43). The shield has a pair of fingers (33) extending across the heads for fitting the boardlocks to the base wall and establishing a grounding path therethrough. The width of the connector is minimized to substantially as that of the mating wall.
