    Abstract: Methods include, in response to a line frequency variation of a power grid, adjusting a voltage setpoint of a voltage regulator coupled to the power grid at a grid edge to maintain a voltage at the grid edge, wherein the adjusting the regulated voltage setpoint is configured to reduce the line frequency variation to stabilize the line frequency of the power grid. Apparatus include a voltage regulator configured to couple to a power grid at a grid edge and to maintain a voltage at the grid edge, wherein the voltage regulator is further configured to adjust a voltage setpoint of a voltage regulator in response to a line frequency variation of the power grid to reduce the line frequency variation and stabilize the line frequency of the power grid.

An elastic piece and a limiting groove are disposed on the rear end of the box body. A clamping seat is arranged on the connecting end of the box cover. A bending portion is arranged on one end of the elastic piece. A fixing portion is arranged on another end of the elastic piece. The bending portion passes through the clamping seat and is exposed. When the box cover is buckled with the box body, the bending portion is deformed by being squeezed and tightly engages with the box cover, and the fixing portion extends downward into the limiting groove.

    Abstract: The present invention comprises a novel foldable and intrinsically safe plate capacitive sensor to measure liquid depths, solids in liquid depths, and two different liquids depths. This invention is used in onsite wastewater management systems (OWTS) to monitor depths of solids, oil, and effluent in a wastewater tank. The plates are configured to allow for solids, liquids and gases to surround the plates. A number of plates are hung in series from near the OWTS tank lid to at least 18 inches below the output baffle to measure the different materials at different depths in the OWTS tank. The capacitive sensors are capable of use with various materials to measure solids, oil, and effluent depths in an OWTS tank.

The reconfiguration can specify respective new statuses for one or more of the reclosers and/or respective quantities of reactive power to be supplied by one or more of the DERs. The reconfiguration can be determined based on a plurality of constraints using an objective function, the constraints being determined based at least in part on recloser status data and/or DER power generation capability data. Respective cleared quantities of reactive power for the DERs to supply to the reconfigured power grid can be determined via a transactive control scheme, and the reconfiguration can be updated prior to implementation based on the results of the transactive control scheme.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a computer-implemented technique for creating a log chain from multiple software component logs. The log chain can include log information from multiple software components that interact with each other. In embodiments, a locality-sensitive hashing technique is used to create a signature of a log chain. Machine-learning systems are trained with log chains generated from test execution, and/or log chains from incidents with deployed software. In embodiments, logs are pre-processed by tokenizing and trimming. Logs from various components that interact with each other may be combined into a temporally sequential log chain. The signature of the log chain may be used to identify additional information about the error from a machine-learning process that was trained on previously generated log chains. In this way, the time required to identify a problem can be significantly reduced, resulting in increased reliability and availability of complex computer systems.

A preparation method of the large-particle spherical salt is also disclosed, wherein in one preparation process, 2% of gum arabic (based on the mass percentage of solute sodium chloride in a sodium chloride saturated solution) is added, and under conditions of an evaporating temperature of 60° C. a stirring rate of 350 rpm, and an evaporating time of 8 hours, a large-particle spherical salt with a particle size of 921.593 ?m and an average sphericity of 0.904 is successfully prepared. The large-particle spherical salt prepared by the method has a uniform particle size distribution and good appearance, can be combined with other substances, adding some extra value to the salt. The present invention uses 3D printing to obtain a complex thin-walled preform, which reduces a deformation during subsequent hot gas bulging. The present invention avoids local bulging thinning and cracking, undercuts at the parting during die closing, and wrinkles due to the uneven distribution of cross-sectional materials, etc. The present invention obtains a high accuracy in the form and dimension through hot gas bulging. After a desired shape is obtained by hot gas bulging, a die is closed to keep the component under high temperature and high pressure for a period of time, so that a grain and a phase of the material are transformed to form a desired microstructure.

An ankle-foot device includes foot and ankle members connected for two-degree of freedom movement relative to one another, allowing for rotation about an ankle axis and rotation about a subtalar axis. Two linear actuators, each coupled to corresponding series elastic element, link the foot and ankle members. Driving the actuators in the same direction causes rotation about the ankle axis and driving the actuators in opposing directions causes rotation about the subtalar axis. A processor receives sensory information from a sensor and drives the actuators to control an equilibrium position of the series elastic elements.

    Abstract: Electromagnetically-induced cement concrete crack self-healing diisocyanate microcapsules include raw materials, in parts by weight, comprising 15-55 parts of petroleum resin, 5-10 parts of paraffin, 5-10 parts of polyethylene wax, 3-10 parts of magnetic iron powder and 20-67 parts of diisocyanate. The diisocyanate microcapsules use the diisocyanate as a core material, and the petroleum resin/paraffin/polyethylene wax/magnetic iron powder mixture as the shell of the capsule. When micro cracks occur in the concrete, the crack propagation can break partial of the microcapsule inside, the diisocyanate inside the microcapsules flows out and diffuses into the crack and is subjected to a solidifying reaction with water in the concrete, so that the crack is repaired in time; and for the microcapsules that are not broken by cracks, external electromagnetic field can be applied to melt the shell to release the diisocyanate inside, thereby diffusing into cracks and solidify with water to repair them.
