    Abstract: A robot control system includes a signal transmission device and a robot. The signal transmission device has two signal transmission elements that substantially transmit a first signal along a first direction and a second signal along a second direction respectively. The first signal defines a first signal area, and the second signal defines a second signal area. The overlap portion of the first and second signals defines a confinement area. The robot includes a detecting module and a control module. The detecting module detects the confinement area by detecting the first signal and the second signal simultaneously. When the detecting module detects the confinement area, the control module controls the robot to change direction and then move for a distance. Besides, a robot control method applied to the robot control system is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A driving device and chassis for a disk tray of an optical disk drive is disclosed. The tray of the optical disk drive is connected to the chassis. The front end of the chassis is provided with a driving means. By the driving of the driving means, the disk tray may open or close. A driven wheel serves to drive a decelerating gear set. The driven wheel has a hole that receives a rotary shaft retainer with a thread portion that screws into a boss on the chassis. An upper half of said rotary shaft screw is an axial portion, that extends through the hole in the driven wheel. Alternatively, a rotary shaft retainer may integrally formed with the chassis through a rotary shaft. The chassis is made of a general material. The manufacturing process is easy and the cost of the chassis of an optical disk drive is reduced.

The optical disk player includes a traverse, and the traverse includes a pickup, a first guide rail, and a framework. The pickup includes a light source for supplying a light beam, and the first guide rail guides the pickup during data reproduction. A spin surface is defined while the spindle is spinning. The micro-adjustment apparatus includes a supporting plate, a pivotal device, a first adjustable pivotal device, and a second adjustable pivotal device. The supporting plate supports the spindle motor and is adjustably coupled to the framework. The pivotal device is disposed at a first predetermined location on the supporting plate and contacts the first guide rail. The first adjustable pivotal device is disposed at a second predetermined location on the supporting plate for adjusting an elevation angle of the supporting plate such that the light beam is substantially vertical to the spin surface.

The axial hole of the driven wheel is positioned in the chassis by a rotary shaft retainer. The rotary shaft retainer is a rotary shaft screw. An upper half of said rotary shaft screw is an axial portion, and a lower half of said rotary shaft screw has a thread, and the axial portion of the rotary shaft screw serves to be pivotally connected to a thread of a short column protruded from said chassis. The thread is locked to a joint of the chassis; or a rotary shaft retainer is integrally formed with the chassis through a rotary shaft. The chassis is made of a general material. The manufacturing process is easy and cost of the chassis of an optical disk drive is reduced.
