The plurality of potential feed objects and corresponding actor identifications are then fed into a machine learned feed object ranking model, with the machine learned feed object ranking model having been trained via a machine learning algorithm to calculate a score for each of the potential feed objects. The score is based on a combination of a likelihood that the user will perform an interaction, via the user interface, on the potential feed object, likelihood that the user's interaction will cause one or more downstream events by other users, and likelihood that a response from a viewer will cause the actor corresponding to the potential feed object to perform an additional user interface action to generate another potential feed object.

    Abstract: A method and device for strengthening the laser shock of a hidden surface includes establishing a continuous laser shock strengthening track and process after acquiring the information about the whole hidden surface. A control system adjusts the movement and rotation of a total reflection mirror which is arranged in a workpiece according to the signal from signal collecting cards for making a reflected laser beam act on a region to be machined of the hidden surface at an appropriate incidence angle. The method can realize the surface strengthening treatment of the hidden surface of the workpiece, significantly improve the mechanical performance of the workpiece and increase the fatigue life thereof, which is applicable to the surface strengthening of the workpiece with the hidden surface.

    Abstract: A data processing method is described. A processor provides different training data sets to a plurality of graphics processing units (GPUs), respectively. The processor controls the plurality of GPUs to generate respective sets of modification parameters by performing respective training processes in a parallel manner using respectively managed versions of a predictive model according to the corresponding training data sets. The processor controls the plurality of GPUs to exchange, before completion of the respective training processes, at least a portion of the sets of modification parameters that have been generated by the plurality of GPUs. The processor also causes the plurality of GPUs to modify the respectively managed versions of the predictive model according to at least the portion of the sets of modification parameters exchanged among the plurality of GPUs.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for preparing sucralose-6-acetate in a biphasic liquid-liquid system. The method comprises slowly dropwise adding an inert non-polar solvent containing a chlorinating agent to an N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) solution of sucrose-6-acetate; then reacting the biphasic liquid-liquid mixture at a certain temperature for 9-20 hours; cooling the system to room temperature after stopping heating, and settling the solution to form layers, an upper layer being an inert non-polar solvent layer, and a lower layer being a DMF solution layer containing the product; hydrolyzing, neutralizing, and filtering the lower layer to obtain a filtrate, and then concentrating the filtrate to obtain a concentrate; dissolving the concentrate in water, and obtaining the product by extraction using ethyl acetate and crystallization, the inert non-polar solvent being an alkane solvent containing 8-18 carbon atoms that is not mutually soluble with DMF.
