  • Publication number: 20230128257
Abstract: The invention presented is a combined tea making apparatus, including teapot and tea filtering bodies; the teapot body has a body and handle, the center connection between body and handle is the first articulation attachment point; two cone projections are set horizontally opposite under the inner edge of the teapot body opening; the two curved grooves on the outside edge of the tea filtering body fit the teapot main body's cone projections. The center points of the cone projections are on the same vertical surface as the first articulation point, allowing tea pouring and filtering without touching the lid. The teapot handle of the teapot, makes it easy to operate with one hand, simplifying tea making and avoiding burn injuries caused by touching. The teapot and tea filtering bodies can both be rotated through 360°, enabling users to enjoy the tea making process, and avoiding scalding hands on the teapot.

  • Publication number: 20190108735
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for improved security monitoring. The system includes cameras mounted to consistently capture facial images. The images are then recognized by a learning machine optimized for the consistently captured images. All cameras form a large scale security network whose sensors generate security information (such as strangers, threatening personal); human authenticates security information and benefits from such information. The large scale security network is able to predict imminent threats with high precision and in real time. The network's intelligence grows as usage grows, or as new nodes joins the network.

  • Patent number: 8549144
Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and article of manufacture for a common configuration framework for applications to configure database objects and resources. configuration interfaces are maintained for a plurality of different database types, wherein each configuration interface implements a database configuration operation with respect to a database of one database type. A configuration request is received from an application indicating a database type, database name, and a database configuration operation. A determination is made of one of the configuration interfaces for the requested database type to implement the requested configuration operation with respect to the database having the database name. The determined configuration interface is invoked with the requested database name to perform the requested configuration operation with respect to the database name.

  • Patent number: 7546604
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for remotely activating application programs and adapters including a queue manager (QM) that monitors for predetermined trigger events (e.g., time out for messages in an application queue) and, when such events occur, generates a trigger message. The trigger message includes process information associated with the application which is used by a trigger monitor application to issue an appropriate command to the application.

  • Publication number: 20090112666
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a monitoring view of an executable business process. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a business process model from an executable business process template; generating a business process monitoring model from the business process model; obtaining status data of a business process instance from a business process engine; generating a business process monitoring model instance by combining the status data with the business process monitoring model; and presenting the business process monitoring model instance as a monitoring view for a user to monitor a running business process instance. The apparatus includes hardware for accomplishing the foregoing method steps.

  • Patent number: 7521473
Abstract: Protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPases) such as PTP1B can play a role in regulating a wide variety of cellular responses such as insulin signaling. Substituted thiophene compounds such as, for example, 2-carboxyl, 3-carboxymethoxy, 5-aryl substituted thiophenes, can inhibit PTP1B and thereby induce greater insulin sensitivity. Accordingly, PTP1B inhibition can provide an alternate treatment for PTPase-mediated disorders such as diabetes.

  • Publication number: 20090073172
Abstract: A method, apparatus, computer program product for displaying the operation path of a process. According to the invention, at least two virtual instance views are generated, and the at least two virtual instance views and the relationships therebetween together exhibit the complete operation path containing possible dynamic operations, wherein a virtual instance view corresponds to a virtual instance and a virtual instance is a part of the entire operation path of the process. In each virtual instance view generated, the operation path of the corresponding virtual instance is presented, i.e. its starting node, terminating node and operation paths therebetween. The generated virtual instance views can be displayed in a temporal order and the operation paths between these virtual instances are visually displayed between the adjacent virtual instance views.
