Abstract: A method for searching a signal source suitable for a multimedia apparatus with multiple signal terminals is disclosed. The method provides an ordered search list of the signal terminals to save the search sequence of the signal terminals. The multimedia apparatus sequentially detects the signal terminals according to the ordered search list of the signal terminals to identify whether an input signal is available. When a specific signal terminal of the signal terminals is found to have an input signal, the sequence of the specific signal terminal in the ordered search list of the signal terminals is set as the first sequence position.

Abstract: A projection apparatus, an illumination module and a color-level correcting method therefor are provided. The projection apparatus comprises a projection lens, an imaging unit and an illumination module. The illumination module comprises a light source, a color wheel and a controlling unit. The light source provides a light beam. The color wheel is disposed on an optical path of the light beam and the controlling unit is connected to the color wheel and the imaging unit. A plurality of color wheel indices is stored in the controlling unit. When the projection apparatus receives an image signal, the controlling unit selects one of the color wheel indices according to the received image signal and controls the imaging unit according to the selected color wheel index. The projection apparatus automatically selects the corresponding color wheel index according to the received image signal for projecting an image with good tints and color-level performance.

Abstract: A projector and a power control method thereof are provided. The projector includes a battery supplying a battery power; an interface receiving and transmitting an external power; a selection unit receiving the battery power and the external power, and selecting and outputting one of the battery power and the external power to be served as the operation voltage of the projector; a lighting element; a driver receiving a driving signal and driving the lighting element accordingly; and a central processing unit (CPU) outputting a control signal with a first state to control the selection unit to select and output the external power when the capacity of the battery is not sufficient and the interface receives the external power, and regulating the intensity of the driving signal outputted from the CPU according to the capacity of the external power so as to make the projector continuously maintain in operation.

Abstract: A control system for controlling video and audio parameters of a display device and a play device is provided. An OSD system of the play device and an OSD system of the display device receive OSD signals respectively. The OSD signals are transmitted between the play device and the display device through a bus. Therefore, the video and audio parameters are controlled synchronously by the OSD signals. Furthermore, displayed images and sound are controlled as well.

Abstract: A key control system disposed in a display apparatus includes a hierarchical menu, a power key, and a key module. The hierarchical menu includes a first layer menu and a second layer menu. The first layer menu has an item corresponding to the second layer menu. The power key is adapted to turn on the power supply of the display apparatus. The key control system is used to execute a key control method includes steps of defining the function of the power key as opening the first layer menu of the hierarchical menu after the power supply is turned on; defining the function of the key module as selecting the item of the first layer menu when the first layer menu is opened; and defining the function of the power key as opening the second layer menu after the item of the first layer menu is selected.

Abstract: A projection apparatus includes a housing, a connector, a control module, and an optical module. The housing provides a battery chamber. An interface aperture is inside the battery chamber. The connector is disposed in the housing and provides a signal transmitting interface located in the interface aperture inside the battery chamber. The control module includes an error-detecting circuit and a microprocessor. The error-detecting circuit is electrically connected to the signal transmitting interface and the microprocessor, and the microprocessor is electrically connected to the signal transmitting interface through the error-detecting circuit. The optical module is disposed in the housing and electrically connected to the control module.
