  • Publication number: 20080022797
Abstract: A ball crew unit with dual ball deflect arrangements includes a pair of circulation ball deflect units. One of then is equipped axially in a first cavity provided in the nut, while the other is equipped radially in a second cavity provided in the nut. By so, the traditional buck toothed design for the male screw threads of the bolt can be eliminated, and is unnecessary to lengthen the nut in order to avoid mutual interference between the ball deflect unit and the nut flange, the circulation tunnel formed in the nut does not have to run through the whole nut either so that the structure of the ball screw unit can be simplified. As a result the assembly work is facilitated, production cost is reduced while the mechanical property is upgraded.

  • Publication number: 20070251343
Abstract: A ball screw unit with dust cleaning and turnpike fixing mechanism includes an annular inlaid slot along the inner surface of a nut proper proximate to the port of a turnpike. A fixed dust scrape formed of a C shaped annular packing is installed in the annular inlaid slot. The C shaped annular packing is covered with a soft covering layer at its inner fringe and the outer fringe of the soft covering layer is just stuffed in the annular inlaid slot of the nut proper. Inner fringe of the soft covering layer is formed into a spiral scraper blade corresponding to the rolling spiral slot of the screw blot. The fixed dust scraper is tightly fixing the turnpike to the nut proper by means of the resiliency of the soft covering layer to clean the dust along the rolling spiral slot with its spiral scraper blade thereby serving as a dust cleaner.

  • Publication number: 20070245843
Abstract: A dexterously designed rolling element for ball screw unit includes a keg-like body formed of an arcuate line revolved about an axis to form an olive shaped body and then intercepted by two parallel planes perpendicular to the axis. Twice of the radius of the curvature of the body is longer than the width between the adjacent crests of the treaded helical track. The distance between the two parallel planes is shorter than the width between the adjacent crests of the threaded helical track so as to increase the contact surface between the rolling element and the helical track, enforce the load carrying capacity of the ball screw unit, and keep the motion of the rolling element smooth.

  • Publication number: 20070230847
Abstract: A spacer contains a magnetic filler and is disposed between the magnetic conductive balls. The magnetic filler produces an indirect magnetic attractive force on the balls, therefore, when the interval between the two neighboring balls is overlarge, the spacer will not tip over under the effect of gravity or centrifugal force, but will be adsorbed on the balls by the magnetic filler.

  • Publication number: 20070068300
Abstract: A ball screw unit has a plurality of partition-rooms each of them accommodating a spacer ball interposed between two load carrying balls. The partition room is formed into two oblique frustum shaped recesses each of them extends a flared mouth tilted downwards to the longitudinal axis of the ball screw unit. The partition room is made of elastic polymer material to facilitate pushing the spacer ball into an oblate ellipsoidal hole opened on the partition room, and the hole is also communicated with the two recesses. With this structure, the spacer balls can be held stably in the partition rooms without the fear of escaping or occurrence of disorganized ball squeezing during operation of the ball screw unit. Besides, the dimension of spacer ball may be made as small as possible so as to increase the number of load carrying balls thereby resulting in improvement of load carrying capability of the structure.

  • Publication number: 20070013535
Abstract: A liquid low level warning device is used on the nut of a screw bolt or the slide block of a linear guideway, and comprises: a circuit terminal, rail and buoyage. The terminal is disposed on a lubricating device in such a manner that an end of the terminal is electrically connected to external equipment (by wire or wireless means) and another end is connected to the rail and positioned in the receiving space of the lubricating device. A stop block is provided on the upper end of the rail and the buoyage is moveably mounted on the rail. With such arrangements, the liquid low level warning device will produce alarm signals when the lubricating oil is lowered to a predetermined level.
