  • Patent number: 6378832
Abstract: Isolation mountings extend in a common plane and the axis of the overhung or cantilevered load is perpendicular to that plane. The isolation mountings are located in recesses formed in the base plate alone or in both the base plate and mounting plate. Where the recesses are solely located in the base plate, installation may simply be placing a washered or large headed screw serially through the isolator, the base plate and threading the screw into the mounting plate or motor shell which remains separated from the base plate. This will be repeated for each isolator. If recesses are located in both the base plate and mounting plate or motor shell, installation simply requires placing the two bottom isolation mountings into the corresponding recesses in the base plate and mounting plate or motor shell.

  • Patent number: 6360555
Abstract: A mount both supports a compressor, and provides fluid communication, between the compressor and a heat exchanger. A first axis is defined extending through the compressor center of mass. A second axis is defined extending parallel to the first axis and positioned a distance from the first axis. A manifold is provided by the mount, and has an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is positioned along the first axis and connected to the heat exchanger and the outlet is positioned along the second axis and connected to the compressor.

  • Patent number: 6299214
Abstract: An annular isolator is provided having a metal tube which acts as a spring while defining a flow path and a resilient member located between two loading plates. The resilient member supports the weight of one of the members being coupled and the tube acts as spring as to transmitting vibration.
