    Abstract: An embodiment of a writing system for a phase change memory based on a present application is disclosed. The writing system comprises a first phase change memory (PCM) cell, a second PCM cell, a first writing circuit and a verifying circuit. The first writing circuit executes a writing procedure, receives and writes a first data to the first PCM cell. The verifying circuit executes a verifying procedure and the circuit further comprises a processing unit and a second writing circuit. The processing unit reads and compares the data stored in the second PCM cell with a second data. The second writing circuit writes the second data to the second PCM cell when the data stored in the second PCM cell and the second data are not matched.

    Abstract: An impact-force adjusting device for a nailer comprises a housing, a driving member, an adjusting knob and a spring. The driving member is formed with one protrusion, and the housing is defined with one guide groove for insertion of the protrusion, such that the driving member is restricted to linearly move in the housing to and fro by the driving of the adjusting knob, so as to compress the spring to different degrees. Such arrangements not only have the advantages of simple structure and small volume, but also can prevent the adjusting knob from extending out of the housing.

The second engaging part is further formed with resilient claws that project from a periphery of the recess.     Abstract: An electric nailing mechanism comprises a striker, an elastic member, one or two toothed bars, and a driving assembly. One end of the elastic member is fixed at one end of the striker. The toothed bars are disposed on a surface of the striker. The driving assembly comprises a screw, a drive gear wheel and one or two travel gears. The drive gear wheel is engaged with the screw and the drive gear wheel and the travel gears are coaxially connected together, so that the drive gear wheel and the travel gears can be rotated synchronously in the same direction. The travel gears are fan-shaped and are engaged with the toothed bars. By such arrangements, the driving assembly takes up a smaller space and the manufacture for the mechanism is much easier.

    Abstract: A technique for updating and maintaining a wireless communication database (40) includes several features. One feature is a search capability that facilitates, for example, an individual locating appropriate portions of the database to be updated in a desired manner. A platinum data image portion includes a relational database regarding various rules governing the contents of the wireless communication database. If a proposed change will violate any of these rules, an error message is provided. If a proposed change is acceptable, it will be implemented on an automated basis. A disclosed example includes the capability of scheduling proposed changes into the future, indicating a proposed change for one particular data field and instructing an automated update of all similar or related data fields in a particular manner.

    Abstract: A system for operating system recovery is proposed and includes a data storage device having a first partition, a second partition and a third partition including bootable files, and a BIOS (basic input/output system) having a recovery function. When the recovery entry is accessed, the BIOS is enabled to boot the computer system to the third partition. After the computer system is booted, an OS image file in the second partition is unpacked into an integral copy of the operating system. The integral copy of operating system and a patch file in the second partition are copied to the first partition. Then, the third partition is set hidden and inactive, and the first partition is set active, and the computer system is rebooted to the first partition. The patch file is executed to patch the operating system in the first partition after the computer system is rebooted to the first partition.
