Patent number: 11969623Abstract: An elliptical trainer with incline adjustment mechanism includes a frame, a link assembly, a pedal assembly and an adjustment mechanism. The frame has a base member and a supporting member. The supporting member defines an inner space. The link assembly has two swinging arms. The pedal unit has two pedal arms. The adjusting mechanism has a shaft, a sleeve member, two coupling members, and two links corresponding to the coupling members. When the sleeve member moves along the shaft, the coupling members and the links are driven by the sleeve member, such that the pedal arms are driven to move relative to the base member. The shaft is disposed in the inner space, preventing the shaft from protruding outward. The coupling members are pivotally connected to the supporting member to evenly distribute the weight of the coupling members and the links.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2022Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: REXON INDUSTRIAL CORP., LTD.Inventors: Wen-Tu Li, Ssu-Shun Yang

Patent number: 11938369Abstract: A treadmill with an anti-entrapment function allows a user to stand on the treadmill and includes a running unit, a control unit, and a sensing unit. The running unit includes two lateral bases, a driving roller, a driven roller, and a running belt. Each lateral base has a bottom end portion. The sensing unit includes a guard bar pivotally provided at the bottom end portions and at least one sensing member. When the user is accidentally pulled into the gap between the running belt and one of the lateral bases, the guard bar will be subjected to an external force and thus rotated downward about a rotation axis, thereby driving the at least one sensing member to send a warning signal to the control unit, in order for the control unit to control the rotation speed of the driving roller accordingly, lest the user be pulled deeper into the gap.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: REXON INDUSTRIAL CORP., LTD.Inventors: Wen-Tu Li, Ssu-Shun Yang

Publication number: 20220362653Abstract: A treadmill with an anti-entrapment function allows a user to stand on the treadmill and includes a running unit, a control unit, and a detection unit. The running unit includes two lateral bases, a driving roller, a driven roller, and a running belt. Each lateral base has a bottom end portion lower than the running belt. The detection unit includes a transmitter for emitting a light wave and a receiver for receiving the light wave. When accidently pulled into the gap between the running belt and one of the lateral bases, the user or a foreign object is moved by the running belt to the space between the transmitter and the receiver, thus keeping the receiver from receiving the light wave. The receiver sends out a warning signal in response, in order for the control unit to control the rotation speed of the driving roller accordingly to prevent continued entrapment.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2022Publication date: November 17, 2022Inventors: Wen-Tu LI, Ssu-Shun YANG

Patent number: 10632340Abstract: A treadmill includes a frame, a driving member and a running belt. The frame includes a base, a front rotating shaft and a rear rotating shaft. The driving member has a motor and a transmission member drivable by the motor. The motor is installed between the front rotating shaft and the rear rotating shaft and is located adjacent to the front rotating shaft. The transmission member is adapted for driving the front rotating shaft to rotate. The running belt winds around the front rotating shaft and the rear rotating shaft, and is drivable by the motor to rotate relative to the base. By installing the motor between the front rotating shaft and the rear rotating shaft, an overall length and size of the treadmill is reduced for minimizing storage space.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2018Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: REXON INDUSTRIAL CORP., LTD.Inventor: Wen Tu Li
