Patent number: 9772495Abstract: The present invention provides a digital loupe device and its automatic view stabilizing method. The digital loupe device is worn or head-mounted on the operator's head via a wearable frame that is connected to a plural of axial rotation modules. A pair of lighting capture modules set on the axial rotation module is used to illuminate the target view and capture the image of the target view in order to send feedback signal. Both the lighting capture modules and axial rotation modules are electronically connected to at least one control unit. The control unit, base on the feedback signal received, moves the lighting capture modules via the axial rotation modules till the desired image of the target view is obtained. The display module connected to the wearable frame can show the captured image and information provided by the control unit.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2014Date of Patent: September 26, 2017Inventors: Weng-Kong Tam, Kai-Pok Tse

Patent number: 9445718Abstract: An optical system for measuring an observed object includes an illuminant component, an imaging component, and an optical component. The illuminant component generates a measuring light. The optical component including a mirror and a beam splitter is located between the illuminant component and the imaging component. The mirror is located between the illuminant component and the observed object, the beam splitter is located between the mirror, the observed object, and the imaging component. The measuring light is projected to the observed object via the mirror and beam splitter, and an imaging light that has been generated from the illuminant component and reflected by the observed object is projected to the imaging component via the beam splitter, the imaging light and the measuring light intersect at the beam splitter. The present invention also provides a measurement method.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2014Date of Patent: September 20, 2016Inventors: Tsu-Wang Shen, Tsung-Yu Ho, Weng-Kong Tam, Yu-Nong Wang

Patent number: 9254181Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic surgical lighting device and its lighting method. The surgical lighting device is located to face a target area and includes a supporting element that is connected to at least a moving element that is above the target area. A lighting capture module set on the moving element is used to illuminate the target area and capture the image of the target area in order to send feedback signal. Both the lighting capture module and moving element are electronically connected to at least one control unit. The control unit, base on the feedback signal received, moves the lighting capture module via the moving element till the whole image of the target area is obtained. By this method, the surgery quality is improved, the surgery time is shortened and the risk of cross infection and the consequent litigation is lowered.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2012Date of Patent: February 9, 2016Inventors: Weng-Heng Tam, Weng-Kong Tam
